Author's point of view

"Uh, who's this?", She asked, flustered.

"How absurd to forget me that fast, love.", He laughed on the other line.

Curiosity and confusion influenced her mind, she wasn't sure about her instincts, but something was telling her that the voice was familiar to her. She heard it somewhere, but she can't remember when and when.

"Ju-just tell me who the hell are you 'cuz-

"It's me, Koko."

"I think you've dialed the wrong number.", She said, and there was a long pause on the other line. She was waiting for a response, yet, she didn't hear any words uttered by the man.

Koko was too stunned to speak. Unable to absorb what about she said. He scrunched his eyebrows and stared at his phone; he was a hundred percent sure that he dialed the correct number. How could she not remember his expensive voice? His ego was severely hurt, making his eyes roll in annoyance.

"Meet me at the café. I'll be there a bit.", then the phone line dropped.

She was confused, with creased eyebrows while staring at her phone. She couldn't determine if she'd oblige to the man's command or not. Her instinct is telling her to go and follow the man but, she's worried, thinking that she might go into danger or something terrible might happen. But her number one problem is if she can walk and move since her body is experiencing deep body pain. Plus, Inupi is still not here; how rude of her if she left the apartment without telling him.

"The fuck.", She cursed herself when her feet reached the cold floor. A sudden jolt of pain passes through her feet up to her upper body.

"Hey, hey, hey.", A soft voice echoed in the room. Y/n searched for it and saw it was Inupi, holding paper bags and a plastic bag filled with mangoes in front of the door of her room. But time flies so fast, Inupi was beside her, supporting her elbows, thinking she might fall any minute. He organized the paper bags in her study before leaving them to assist her.

"I'm fine.", She said, but it didn't stop Inupi from guiding her back again to her bed.

"No, you're not.", He reckoned, making her to sighed in defeat.

She couldn't think of any reason to leave the apartment to meet the stranger from the phone call. Her mind wasn't thinking straight and was invaded with thoughts and hypotheses of who the hell is that guy. She found his voice sound full of confidence as if they'd met already. She didn't know him, physically but his voice was so familiar. She knew him from his voice, but her mind wasn't cooperating at all!
