Brother's Best Friend | | Fred Weasley

•Part fifteen

This is the chapter that we finally get to meet Astrid Dorcas Jackson!

Also yes I did change the face claim for Astrid if you had already read this part of the story before!! She used to be Alexa Demie but I feel like Kaylee Bryant is a better face claim for Astrid!

It was now the next day and all was going well. You and the girls decided to sit with the boys for breakfast and it was fun, you all talked about lots of random stuff but everyone mainly had questions about you and Fred.

Now that you and Fred were officially a couple and were also out in the open, things were going great. Surprising, Tyler was still alright with you dating his best friend, Fred, which was very surprising.

You were just waiting for him to crack though.

You had been going to all your lessons today and now it was time for lunch, so you made your way to the great hall with Pearl.

"Amy had been really quiet recently, don't you think?" Pearl mentioned as you were approaching the great hall for lunch.

"Now that I think of it, she has. I wonder why, maybe we can talk to her about this." You said and walked round the corner with Pearl.

You were now in the great hall and saw that Amy, Cora, Angelina and all of the boys were sat with a girl that you didn't recognise. Her hair looked a bit like your mother's hair. You and Pearl have each other the same look before walking over to the two spare seats near everyone.

One seat next to Fred which you sat in and one seat next to Lee, Pearl took that seat.

"Oh, Astrid, this Mars Jackson." Fred motioned towards you to the new girl. "And Mars, this is Astrid Jackson. She is new here."

Jackson?

"It's nice to meet you, Astrid." You shook her hand. "This is Pearl black, one of my friends."

"Hey." Pearl waved at Astrid.

"Wait!" George noticed what Fred had said. "Jackson? You are a Jackson?"

"Yeah I am! I live with my father, I have no idea where my mother is." Astrid, the new girl, said.

"Wait what?" Tyler chimed in. "Mars, don't you think that is a little bit.. weird?"

"Yeah.. I do." You told him. "By any chance, is your fathers name Frank Jackson?"

"Yeah, he is. How do you know that?" Astrid asked you, now also very confused.

"I think we could be siblings-" you were cut off by Tyler coughing.

"Mars I need to talk to you quickly." He said and before you got a chance to answer, he got up from his seat and grabbed your arm to take you out of the great hall. "I don't fucking trust this girl."

"Tyler, we just met her!" You groaned. "Why do you always do this? You never give anyone a chance to earn your trust, you just decide that you don't like them."

"Mars. When I don't like someone, when do they turn out like a perfect person? Never. They are always rude or end up leaving us. Look at Frank." Tyler said and then sighed. "Look, I just wouldn't trust this girl so easily."

"And why not?" You asked.

"Did you not see how she was acting with Fred when you were there? You should have seen how she was before you even got there." Tyler exclaimed.

"Wait what? Rewind a few seconds, she was acting like what with Fred?" You questioned.

"She was all touchy and shit." Tyler told you. "Let's just get back in there, I wouldn't trust her."

"I don't now either, I need to write to mum about this. It's messed up if she kept our own sister a secret from us." You sighed and walked back into the great hall with your twin brother.

You both sat down in your original seats and continued to talk to everyone, including Astrid. Neither you or Tyler wanted her to know that you didn't trust her yet, especially if she was actually your sister.

"So how do you two know each other?" You asked Astrid and Fred, everyone else having left for their lesson and you three having a free period.

"Oh, Freddie here is my boyfriend." Astrid gave you a nice smile, but you choked on air.

"What?" You felt betrayed.

"Mars.. let's go to my room, we can talk about this." Fred said and went to grab your hand but you quickly pulled it away from him in hurt and anger. "Please."

"No! What the fuck did she just say, Fred?" You turned to face your boyfriend. "Please tell me that Astrid is lying."

He stayed silent.

"I think I should leave.. see you two later!" Astrid said and left, your eyes never left Fred's guilty face though.

"Answer me, Fred." You demanded. "Is that bitch lying?"

"She isn't." Fred looked down and you laughed out of pure shock and anger.

"Are you kidding me right now? You said you liked me." You tried to hold your anger back. "Please don't be fucking with me right now, Fred Weasley."

"I'm not." Fred gulped.

You stayed silent for a bit, looking into Fred's eyes.

"You promised me."

You shook your head and left the entrance to the great hall, heading towards your dorm with Fred following you.

"Mars please! Let's just talk about this like adults, we don't leave each other mid conversation!" Fred yelled at you.

"What is there to talk about? How you cheated on me only a couple days into our relationship, how you promised that you would never hurt me but you did anyway?" You turned to face Fred again. "You could have at least told me."

"Mars, I wanted to, trust me!" Fred pleaded.

"Then why didn't you? You've had the chance to tell me so many times, but you just didn't?" You said and Fred stayed silent. "Unbelievable."

You turned back around and walked all the way to the Gryffindor common room, secretly hoping Fred would follow you, but he didn't. You entered the common room and sat down on the couch, nobody being in the room.

Tears fell down your face as you thought about what just happened. You were sat there until someone entered the common room, you didn't bother to look who it was before they noticed you were they and gave you a hug.
