Intro

June 12, 1984

8 year old Mike Vitar and Jade Perez were swinging each other on Jade's family swing her father made for her and her little sister although she was a newborn.

"Mike! Mike! I can see the whole world from here!" Jade screams in excitement. The sun was setting and it placed a very pretty golden view in their eyes.

Mike saw it as he stopped pushing Jade. She got off when the swing came to a stop. She held onto his arms as they both stared into the sky.

"Jade, It's so beautiful" Mike says in amazement.
"You're right Mike," She agrees. "Will you promise me something?"

Mike turns to the green eyed girl to find her staring at him already.

"Yes of course," He smiled.
"That we will be friends forever"
"I promise Jade, always and forever"

With that, they grew up. Until they started high school and Mike got into football and baseball. He grew into the popular people as Jade stayed behind.

And then their promise broke.
