A sixteen-year-old Asian American whose mother died when he was at a very young age. His father walked out leaving him with his Grandmother Mimi who he cherishes the most in the world.
Milo struggles to fit in and find acceptance with himself. The only place he could ever consider home is on twenty-first Grove street - wrapped in the arms of his Mimi.

Mimi is a sixty-five older woman who works two jobs to provide a life for her sixteen-year-old grandson. She was diagnosed with Leukemia at the younger age of twenty-four but with the good graces of god, she overcame the sickness.
"Why you not go out with friends or make more friends? I'm an old woman soon I have to leave this home, and I only wish to heaven you are prepared and safe."

A worker at Daisy club, and a big fashion addict. She thinks Milo is the cutest. She's twenty years old and has a three-year-old. She currently works and sells her body to men on the Sweety app.
Her morals are anything to survive despite the diseases. She knows what it means to be a mother, and that means doing anything to make sure that the baby has a meal.

In this story, I plan on focusing on the topic of Family, and how sometimes home is not where you park your car or lay your head, but sometimes it's deeper than that.
