Chapter 5

  After I got situated in my cabin by putting the things that my moms left for me in the book bag I decided to go to battle arena first for about an hour and train, then I would do the training wall until lunch rolled around and then figure out what else I wanted to do later when the time came. I made my way to the battle arena to be greeted by Cabin 9, Cabin 14, and cabin 18 already training. When Cabin 18 noticed I was there they invited me to spar with them and accepted. I was matched with a girl about the age of 14 who had dagger already in hand and told me to get my weapon out, in turn I double tapped my bracelet and it turned into a spear. She then reached out and I did the same and we began to spar. The first move she made was try and punch my arm but I blocked easily and side kicked her in the gut but she recovered quickly and attempted to stab me her dagger but I reflected front kicked her and when she was distracted I swept my foot under hers and she went tumbling backwards dropping her dagger. I picked it up then put it against her neck until she tapped out. I gave her my hand helped her up then gave her back her dagger. Some others wanted to fight weaponless with me so we fought with bow staffs. All of the times I won and it kept going on like that until the Chiron called us for lunch. After I got my food I dumped out a portion into the fire and made a prayer to the gods the sat back down at my table. Jawslyn made her way over to my table and so did the others considering we weren't actual children of the gods. I had gotten Chicken Alfredo,Jaden had gotten grilled cheese, Emily got a burger, Jawslyn got a blue burger, and Kennedy got pizza. I remember Thalia telling me that Percy her idiotic cousin likes eating blue foods and drinks so I wasn't surprised that Jawslyn had gotten a blue food. I noticed that Kennedy had gotten cheese pizza even though she's lactose intolerant so I asked and she just said that she loved it to much to give it up. For the rest of lunch we all talked and ate.
