Chapter 13

Julie's POV:

I led them down to a forest making a couple wrong turns in the process I just couldn't focus on anything other than the fact that the miracle baby of two of the greatest hunters of Artemis was behind me. I had only been in the hunters care for a couple months after the incident but even I knew who they were and was told millions of stories of the great daughter of Zeus and daughter of Bellona. Eventually I got my head to calm down and led the five girls and willow the wolf into the camp grounds that I haven't visited in over a week but I knew that they would still be here on the mission. Inside the camp grounds were two large tents that could probably hold up to six people tops and seven other two person tents. They belonged to a portion of the hunters of Artemis. I'm guessing they saw us coming in because about four girls that I recognized as Amber: the groups tracker Freya: groups healer Riley: the groups scavenger and Connie: the groups navigator emerged from the tents with their bows at the ready in case it was a threat. Once they noticed it was me they dropped their bows and ran over to great us. Freya slapped my arm and said," Where were you and who are your new friends", she said while eyeing me suspiciously. I quickly introduced them to the legacies and Sophie's wolf. "Wait so back up your telling me that while you were gone looking for a freaking coin to add to your collection you ended up getting captured in a lodging house and got saved by five badass girls and a really cool wolf who are looking for chalice of youth?" Connie summed up. " Yeah pretty much" I reply. She then quickly gets a second glance at the group and runs into her tent. On the other side of the camp grounds Freya's disinfecting and bandaging any wounds that the girls might have and getting them a fresh change of clothes and supplies for the road. Less then four minutes later Connie comes back with an envelope in hand that I hadn't seen before and said," We received this letter on the third day that you went missing. Inside is a letter with a map and a magnifying glass." She then proceeds to hand it to me and motions for me to give it to the group of ladies who where now all wearing a dark gray muscle long sleeve shirt green camo pants and black combat boots with a black jacket. I walked over to where they were and said," This letter came a couple days ago with a letter and a clue about where the chalice of youth will be. Be safe okay don't do anything stupid or reckless." Sophie took the note graciously and said her goodbyes and then her and her troop all head back out into the forest to start looking for the chalice they seek.
