You were hanging out with your friends Kirk, Lars, James and Cliff. They were the coolest people to be around with and you had so much fun spending time with them. Lars and Cliff brought some CDs, so you had music on full blast. You all laughed and joked about each other and in general, it was really fun. 

The one thing that seemed kind of weird to you was the fact that whenever you turned your head over to James, he quickly turned his head another way, or down. It seemed kinda sketchy, but you didn't pay attention to it at all.

Finally, after him avoiding any eye contact with you, you walked over to him to see what's happening.

- Hey - you said, sitting on the couch next to him - Is something wrong?

- What? No, it's okay, why? - James said. You could see that he was a little bit nervous.

- Well, the whole time I was here you didn't even look at me once. - as you said that, his eyes widened. - I thought that there must be something wrong.

James didn't say anything. He was still avoiding eye contact with you.

- James, you can tell me anything - you said, laying your hands on his hands.

- Your hands are cold as shit - he said jokingly, laughing. This time he looked you in the eyes. You've always loved how his eyes looked, but this time looking deep into them you could feel butterflies in your stomach.

- Alright, alright - you laughed. - What did you want to tell me?

- Well... uh, Y/N, I like you. I really, really like you. So... will you go out with me, like, on a date or some shit?

- Are you kidding? Of course i will! 

- What? Seriously?

- Yes! - James cracked a smile and blushed a little bit as you said it.

- Awww! Lovebirds! - said Kirk out of nowhere.

- Shut up Kirk, they're having a moment - Lars winked in your direction. Cliff watched this scene with a smile on his face.

- Hey - you turned over to James back again. - You don't have to be so nervous about things like that. You can tell me everything, I promise I won't laugh! - you both giggled.
