hello! this is a cute little story that i just got an idea for. another non-requested part, lol. i hope you like it!

----------------------------------------------

You looked at the clock. 5:13 a.m. You woke up an hour ago. You couldn't sleep afterwards anyway, so you just layed on the bed, staring at the ceiling. You got bored after a while, so you went to the kitchen.

You turned on the radio and lowered the volume. It was kind of a background noise to keep you company. Rain poured outside and although it was a relaxing sound, music in the background made it better.

You sat there, thinking about certain things; mostly good ones. Life is good, you thought. But something's missing.

The moment you said that, James walked in. You could see that he just woke up.

- Hello, angel. What are you doing? - he said, walking up to you.

- Nothing. I just couldn't sleep.

- Is something wrong? - he asked, really concerned.

- No, I just woke up at an inhuman hour, that's all - you laughed. - And what are you doing here?

- I don't really know. I woke up and thought about you.

- That's... that's really sweet - you said as your face got blood red all over.

James just sat beside you and hugged you, almost instantly giving you butterflies. You couldn't help but just rest your head on his chest. It gave you a feeling of comfort and intimacy.

- You like the sound of rain, don't you, Y/N? - that question caught you off guard.

- Well... yes, I do. What about it? - you asked, pretty confused.

- Nothing. It just reminds me of you for some reason - he laughed. You loved that adorable laughter of his. It was just so cute how his voice became lighter whenever he laughed.

- Does it really?

- Yeah, when I woke up to the sound of rain, you came to my mind. I don't know why.

- Well, the thing that reminds me of you is the Sun.

- Why?

- 'Cause you're the sunshine of my life.

- Really? - it sounded as if he couldn't believe that his presence brings you happiness.

- Yes, of course - you smiled.

You turned the volume of the radio up a little bit. There was some cheesy 50's song playing at the moment at which you both cringed a little but despised it.

- Do you want to dance? - you asked.

- I can't really dance. I don't get that shit.

- I can teach you how to dance - you both stood up, holding each other's hands. You showed him some dance moves. He wasn't the best student, but he tried really hard to understand your commands.

You pretty much had fun with it. You got kind of tired from laughing your asses off. At one moment, James picked you up and held close to himself, leaving a bunch of kisses onto your neck, jawline and cheeks. Life was pretty much really good as long as he was beside you.
