Hello, strawberries!

If you're here from Hate Me or Blossom, welcome back; if you are new, it's a pleasure to meet you :)

Reaching 300 followers is a momentous occasion for me and something I never even dreamed of when I published the first chapter of Hate Me just for fun. It has now been almost a year since i finished writing Hate Me... time flies faster than I expected.

To everyone who has been with me on the journey so far, thank you, and I hope you'll continue to stick around. It's because of all of you that I have the motivation to continue writing stories like this one. Your comments and messages mean so much to me.

Special thanks to Kiana, for never failing to make me laugh, and for being so encouraging when I complain to them about my writers block; and Sam, who has always put up with my shit and been there for me when I need her.

Without further ado, I hope you'll enjoy my newest work: Violent Delights.

It was supposed to be a mutually beneficial arrangement. Nothing more, nothing less. How the hell did it end up like this, with the boy I love dying in my arms?

My apologies, I'm going much too fast. I've always been a jump-straight-in type of guy. Shoot first, ask questions never, if you will. Maybe I should set the scene. Add a little dramatic flair, perhaps.

Picture this: Mid-twenty-first century, in a lavish castle, you know, the kind you'd see in a film. The castle in question is built on high, lush emerald expanses of land, rows of trees acting like a barrier to keep the outsiders out and the insiders in. Brown brick, not mud brown but sandy. Brilliant greens spires and turrets reaching up to the heavens, their points saying haughtily 'we're closer to god then you peasant onlookers will ever be'.

You could almost imagine a ferocious, flame-breathing dragon winding itself around the base of the structure, a slinking dangerous beast that devours its residents or any foolish knight who dares visit, and keeps its beloved princess locked up and alone in the most solitary room of the highest tower.

There's no princess in this castle though; instead, a prince. A beautiful, compassionate -

Just kidding. He might act like a saint around his family, his servants, and to the media he projects the flawless image of the perfect heir to the throne. But when you've spent months practically chained to his throne with him, continuously beckoned to his side at even the slightest inconvenience - 'the milk in my tea is two degrees colder than usual' type of bullshit - being his right-hand man, waiting on his every need, and sleepless nights spent in his chambers.. well, you're sure to realise that the little angel is more like a demon in disguise.

Or just a really, really needy man-child.

He's a clumsy, spoiled, touch-starved, picky eater who's desperate for any form of attention. He shirks his duties to muck around and always finds someone else to blame for his problems.

He does have rather nice eyes though. Gorgeous, dark green, like his hair, or like the plains of grass encircling the castle in which he dwells. Cute freckles, too.

And I suppose, if I really had to force a compliment out of my foul mouth... for all his selfish, childish bullshit, he'd make a pretty great king. He cares about his people, clever and quick-witted, and he sure as hell can come up with a decent plan for anything.

That's how I got myself into this whole mess. That little strategist bastard.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you his royal highness, Prince Izuku Midoriya.
