Chapter 3. Things start to get a little weird

So there I was ,just glued to the computer screen,Scrolling down some links until one caught my attention "Unlock the secrets of astrology " I couldn't help but take a look and I immediately regretted my decision , I didn't get what I was looking for. I needed some leads on astrological signs all I got was lame tarot cards which made no sense to me. Disappointed I shut my Mac and waded out to get something to eat.
Let's try thai today I thought as I entered into the most beautifully lit restaurants in town 'The Thai way'. The Thai way is a well planned restaurant , I bet the interior designer spent a lot of time in designing it. As soon as you walk in you get the kind of vibe that your in Thailand and that naturality is what I like the most. The walls were painted with saffron colour and decorated with bamboo shoots. The woodwork done on the tables were simply fantastic. After I soaked in all the ambience I was good to go.

I started walking down an ally beside the restaurant, I could hear the rattling of dishes and scrubbing noises as I was passing. I went a bit further and stopped , "I've never seen this before " I thought . The sign read "Your future awaits" I felt rather intrigued by this sign so, I went closer , opened the gate and found myself in front of an old wooden door with weird markings which kind of resembled Egyptian hieroglyphs.

The door creaked and opened revealing a dull lit room with four candles placed at each corner and a pentacle was placed at the centre of the room. " Freaky" I thought, just beside the pentacle sat a young women, now this woman was no ordinary woman, she was by far the most beautiful woman I have seen . She had this aura, a glow that seemed to get the better of any man who laid eyes upon her. Speaking of eyes, she had very distracting eyes, they were like little sky blue crystals that could peak into your soul. Her hair was loose which looked like a golden ocean intensifying her look and magnifying her beauty. To put it simple she defined beauty, beauty was literally emulating from her. "Wooah !! Hottie alert , Oh my god" ! I thought as I looked at her perfect figure. " Hey wait a minute , hang on ! This is a nut house and she could be nuts ! What the hell am I doing ... am I nuts? Jeez " I thought as I turned my back and then I heard a voice .

"It is a gift and a curse child " the woman's voice echoed as if reading my mind. " Ok first things first don't child me ok, I'm not a child and I happen to have a name you know? I'm .....
"Zander "she blurted out. "How the hell do you know that "? Have you been stalking me? I said sounding surprised.
"As I said its a gift and a curse, now sit down" she said gesturing to a low stool. " Ah !Zander I've been expecting you! your destiny awaits" . "You are the chosen one , your destiny has been written a long time ago , you shall be facing many obstacles and your life is in grave danger!! You have been bestowed upon great powers you are unaware of and...."Hold on lady! I'm no Romeo and your no Juliet nobody expects me ! Im just an ordinary guy who is invisible to people ok ,I'm a nobody and please for gods sake ! Cut out your prehistoric accent.

I'm not 'The chosen one' who has unfathomable powers ok , whoever is paying I'll pay double just leave me alone" . "You are not in a position to understand what's going on but over time you will realise and we will meet again ! Watch out for the signs !!! And you will know... "Sure thing" I sarcastically said and walked out of the door." Whoah what a nut case " I thought and started walking home.

A few hours later ......
I just finished writing my assignment , satisfied with the work I shut my laptop and crashed down onto the bed. Still I couldn't get my mind off that woman, how she sounded so sure of meeting again and about my destiny, what was so special about me? I know I kind of freaked out a bit but anyone would have reacted the same way.. Just imagine a stranger coming up to you and starts blabbering about you as if she had known you all her life . Her voice echoed in my mind " watch out for the signs " ! , what signs ? "Did she mean traffic signs ".
After hours of restless tossing and turning I finally got some sleep. everything seemed good , then suddenly it started again...

This time the scene was different ' it was an open prairie field with sprawling green grass as far as the eye could see And there I was standing in the middle of it. I felt the warmth of the sun pricking me and cold draft of the restless winding pushing against my body.. Everything seemed so surreal and then I heard it again! The same voice , calm , quiet and sort of had a reverberating effect. I started to follow it, it led me across endless fields , I started to get wary and terribly thirsty.. Until finally the voice stopped and before me was the same woman who I called the nutcase. She was more beautiful now with a ravishing outfit.

"Hello Zander I am Aria I'm sorry we did not have a proper introduction before because you know you were ummm freaking out. You do not know how serious this is , time is running out several lives are at stake! You need to trust me! You were born for special purpose , You have to realise your destiny and you need to do that on your own. I will be there to guide you, I know your head is exploding with questions of who you are and about your parents but be patient and everything will be revealed , I know it's a lot to take in but we don't have time! We will meet again tomorrow and I shall brief you on your destiny.. Until then hushhhhh!!!

She didn't even give me a chance to speak, she just disclosed some pretty lethal stuff and didn't even bother to ask my opinion. My life felt it was controlled , not in my hands anymore. The hushhhhh thing seemed to have an immediate effect on me, I just blacked out and the dream faded away I couldn't even continue thinking.. I just drifted off to sleep and believe me it was the most peaceful sleep I had in ages..
