Chapter 4: The Intruder

Midoriya POV:
I walk out of the elevator ready to collapse on my bed after studying with Uraraka until she left saying she had to go help the girls with something and wouldn't be back for a while. Walking down the hallway I notice a light coming from my dorm room... I didn't leave my light on I know that for sure. I slowly crept towards my door fearing it was one of the villains, or worse, Aoyama, I shiver at the thought. I end up scaring myself too much at the thought of someone in my room so I went to get Kacchan from his dorm.

I walk down the hallway on the fourth floor and knock on Kacchan's door, "WHO THE HELL IS IT?" I flinch slightly "I-It's me Kacchan" "WHAT DO YOU WANT YOU DAMN NERD?" "U-um, I think there's someone in my dorm Kacchan, I-I'm scared to go in." "STUPID NERD IF YOU CAN'T ENTER YOUR DORM ROOM HOW THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO BE A PRO?" "I-I- s-sorry for b-bothering you K-Kacchan," I say before walking away quickly with tears in my eyes.

Since Kacchan wasn't any help I decided to go to the fifth floor and ask Todoroki for help. "Todoroki-Kun?" I knock on his door "Come in" I open the door and walk-in "what is it Midoriya?" "I-I know this is stupid but I th-think there's someone in my dorm and I'm scared to go in" the tears are almost overflowing now "It's not stupid Midoriya, would you like me to come with you to make sure you're okay?" I look up surprised at his offer, I had expected him to think I was a baby "Y-Yes please Todoroki-Kun" he nods we walk down the hallway and into the elevator pressing the button for the second floor.

Walking down the hallway we reach my dorm, the door is still open so Todoroki sets his left hand on fire (a/n that sounds weird out of context, he's using his quirk if you didn't understand) and pushes the door with his right hand. I prepare to get hit by something and close my eyes, I don't hear anything so I open them, my dorm is empty. Embarrassed I apologise to Todoroki for dragging him all the way here for no reason, "it's quite alright Midoriya, I understand you were worried there is nothing to apologise for" I hug him before he leaves, he stands motionless for a second before wrapping his arms around me too, he leaves waving to me. I turn around and enter my dorm, now not afraid. I close and lock the door before going over to my mattress to write something new in my diary. I lift my mattress but there's nothing under it...

I run out of my dorm knowing someone had been in there and worried they might come back, I go back up to the fourth floor and knock on Kacchan's door again "WHO THE HELL IS IT THIS TIME??" "I-it's me again Kacchan, I know someone was in my room, I h-have proof!" I hear a groan from inside his dorm "UGH FINE COME IN SO YOU STOP WHINING!" I open the door and walk in "I-I looked under my mattress to find my di- to find something, which I knew I left there but when I looked it wasn't there, I always leave it there Kacchan! Someone must've taken it!" I continue mumbling until I'm interrupted "OI DEKU! STOP MUMBLING!" I flinch at the loud noise "S-sorry Kacchan!" He rolls his eyes "whatever. Look you probably just left it somewhere else, if you're really worried about it why don't you ask the rest of the idiots who live here? I'm sure at least one of them would know something" I was shocked that Kacchan wasn't yelling but thanked him and left without asking any further questions.

I go downstairs to the common room to see Uraraka and her friends all sitting on the ground around something talking, I step closer to see what they're gathered around and see my diary!
