TWENTY - pigeons

They entered a small parlor room where there were two small sofas. They each took seats, Keira opposite all three of them. "What is it, Keira?" Ron asked, now more warm towards her.

Keira took a minute to choose her words carefully. "I know about the Horcruxes." She said quietly and they all sucked in a breath. Harry's face was grim.

"How?" Harry asked.

"Well it's a long story involving your godfather's brother but I wanted to ask you if you noticed Bellatrix's alarm when she saw the sword," Keira asked.

"We did notice, we think there is another one in there, or at least something else that Voldemort doesn't want us to have access to." Hermione piped up.

"Good, I'm glad we're on the same page. I've asked for an Order meeting tomorrow to prepare for the battle we all know will come." She glanced at Harry. "I know you won't be there but is there anything you need?" She asked Harry specifically now.

He looked between Ron and Hermione, they both nodded at him. "When the time comes I'll need a way into Hogwarts, that's fast. I also need something found, something that belongs to Ravenclaw." Keira searched her brain trying to think of anything significant that could be linked to it.

After a moment of silence, Hermione spoke up. "You don't sound particularly surprised, Keira,'' Hermione said, her brow creasing.

"Well the locket was Slytherin's so it makes sense," Keira answered. They all looked shocked.

"How do you know about the locket? Only Regulus knew that." Ron said, impressed.

"I will tell you but after all this." Keira gave a wave of her hand to gesture about the current situation. "But now there is no time." They nodded. They understand. 

Keira left the cottage by the sea, sincerely wishing she could stay until the war had blown over. But she knew that she must see this through to the end. She owed it to everyone after all the bad her parents had done in their lives. I have to restore a balance.

Keira's new purpose now was to introduce B to the Order, which she knew would be a tricky ordeal, and wished that Harry, Ron, and Hermione could be there to plead his case, after the distraction he caused at Malfoy Manor, but she had to do this alone.

She also had to do what Harry asked and find him a way into Hogwarts which was easy enough, given the passage that Neville had created from the Room of Requirement to the Hogshead but getting him into the Hogshead would be more difficult. Keira knew from B that deatheaters frequented the pub.

Her other task was to find something of Ravenclaw's. She wished she had asked Luna when she was at the cottage. Keira could not think of a single thing that was significant to Ravenclaw.

Keira arrived back home at Spinner's End in the next second. When she entered the living room she saw Severus talking with Rosier and Yaxley, she apologized and exited again. When they had gone she returned to the room.

"Severus, do you know about Voldemort's Horcruxes?" She asked blatantly. He looked taken aback at her bold question but sighed and nodded.

"What do you know about them?" He asked her. She recited her information from B and from Harry. "Do you know what they all are?" He asked further.

She shook her head. "I know that there is something from Ravenclaw but I don't know what, I know that there is Slytherin's locket and I know there is something in Bellatrix's vault, but that's it there should still be four more." She trailed off.

Severus got up to pace the room. "There is also Voldemort's diary, which has been destroyed, the Gaunt ring, which shortened Dumbledore's life and I suspect Nagini, Voldemort's snake." Severus finished.
