"Ouch," Adrien faked.
"Oh I'm- I'm so sorry Adrien," Marinette panicked. He chuckled, "I was kidding Marinette." She was having trouble tailoring the quidditch uniform jacket he was wearing, her hands couldn't stop shaking nervously. "Girl, you need to calm down," Alya whispered.
Marinette's face was dark pink; She was getting ready to showcase the new line for the school quidditch team; Adrien, thanks to Nino pulling a few strings, offered to help. Adrien was a true prodigy after his father, and was a total heart throb among the students, this was a far great advantage for Marinette's school showcase.
Juleka, Rose and Luka were on the field with other students who were excited to see Adrien and the rest of the quidditch team. Moments later, Adrien was on his broom, flying passed the students and after making an entrance he hovered near by the crowd modeling the uniform Marinette created. "Oooooooooooo, Marinette did a great job right Luka?" Rose asked beside him. He quickly wrote, "She did." He smiled looking over to Marinette and waved at her but she was distracted by the boy on the broom.

Walking back to the school from the field after the show, Luka came across a green house and noticed a familiar face planting herbs in several pots with her wand. He recognized it was Chloe, "Do you ever rest?" Luka slid the notebook next to the pot she had just filled with a sleeping mandrake. "Good Morning to you too," Chloe huffed. "And to save you ink just to ask what I'm doing; I'm getting ahead of my studies. For your information, I am a Bourgeois and I've got a title to hold." Chloe passed him as she made her way towards another pot of plants.
He was in awe at her comment, he turned his page and wrote, "You missed the show, Adrien was there modeling Marinette's new quidditch uniform." Chloe read and replied, "Is that so." He turned the page again and wrote, "Chloe I'd like us to be friends," she dropped what she was doing and looked up at him in confusion; thankfully mandrakes were hard to wake up when they were planted underneath dirt; so the magical creature didn't hear Chloe drop the empty pot she was holding. She frowned, he could be using her, or maybe he's trying to get at something, she thought. He's been nothing but kind to her so far, could she really trust him? "Did Jean put you up to this?" She took off her gardening gear and dogged him. Luka quickly wrote in his notebook, "No, I really would like to get to know you. I mean you've been so nice to me." Chloe felt a pang in her chest at the word, "nice" in what way has she been nice to him, she was starting to think he wasn't as bright as she thought. Then she remembered what happened to Sabrina and she couldn't do that to someone again, "I'm sorry Luka but you're better off hanging out with Dupan-Cheng." Chloe repaired the broken pot with a flick of her wand then continued on to clean up the area she was working in, she can hear him writing something down in his notebook to reply. She looked up and read, "Are you afraid of getting hurt?" Yet again, he surprised her once more. She didn't expect him to respond that way; she sighed. "Luka I'm afraid you're gonna get hurt."
Luka's eyes widen, he took a moment to contemplate and then started to write down a response, but Chloe stopped him, brushing her hand on his notebook. "I had a best friend...." She paused, thinking whether she should be explaining this in the first place, "Her name was Sabrina. She was protecting me; I, being from a well known family name, at times I would get attacked by hitmen or tried to be kidnapped. Sabrina got hurt by someone who crashed one of our dinner parties. I thought I could help her so I tried to reverse the curse she was under but it made things worst; I got too confident with a spell I casted and it costed me my friendship. Since then I study hard to prefect my work, and especially being born into the Bourgeois family I will be the next in line to take my parents' legacy both in Paris, France and in the wizarding world. It's expected of me," Chloe was seriously confessing to this person she barely knew. It was so easy to talk to him and she found it unusual. "I'm not saying I don't want to be friends with you, but know that it won't be easy and you can and will get yourself hurt."
"That's a chance I'm willing to take," he wrote.
