"thanks," i smiled at my brother as he folded my last piece of clothing and put it in my new closet.

"no problem sis," justin grinned as he closed the closet door.

he went over to my bed. "okay, so real talk," he continued, plopping down. "what do you think of the boys? do you think you'll survive here?"

"they're nice," i said honestly. "i think i'll be fine."

"you seem to have gotten pretty close to seb," justin commented. "didn't know you had it in your introvert self to do so."

"we just kind of clicked, i guess," i shrugged. "it probably helps that we're the same age."

"yeah," my brother nodded. "what about the rest of them? you're at least somewhat comfortable around all of them, right?"

"i guess," i mumbled. "except ryan."

"ryan?" justin asked as i nodded in response.

"yeah," i said, biting my bottom lip in thought. "maybe i'm just overthinking it, but he seems hard to approach."

"i can see that. don't worry. he'll warm up to you soon."

"really?" i said in disbelief. "he seems very closed off. seb said that he's really loud and stuff once you get to know him, but i genuinely can't see that at all."

"once you two become closer you'll definitely see it," justin chuckled. "just give him time. who knows? maybe you could be his soulmate," he wiggled his eyebrows teasingly.

"haha very funny," i said sarcastically. "you would probably murder him before anything could even happen."

"if it was regie then maybe," he joked. "for real though, ryan's a good person. we're really close and if you were soulmates, i wouldn't be opposed to it."

"well, the soulmate thing is a huge if, so let's not get ahead of ourselves," i replied. "agh, how is it already one in the morning," i grumbled, checking the time on my phone. "i need to shower."

"bathroom is at the very end of the hall in case you forgot," justin reminded me. "i added a little place for you to put your things so you can separate it from the rest of us."

"thanks," i said gratefully, hugging my brother before proceeding to grab my pajamas and other toiletries. "i'll go now."

"you should. you stink," my brother teased.

"shut up," i retorted before walking out of my room and headed toward the bathroom.

i walked quietly to the bathroom, turning on the light as i stepped inside. when i walked in, i was surprised by the fact that it was so massive. once i finished marveling at the bathroom, i noticed the empty little shelf and storage bin that had been placed at the end of the sink with a sticky note that had "miya" written on it. after wiping today's makeup off of my face and carefully taking my contacts out of my eyes, i placed my toiletries and makeup into it before grabbing a towel to go shower. making sure that i got all of the nasty airport/airplane germs off of my body, i finished showering, put on my pajamas, and then went over to the sink to brush my teeth and do my skincare routine. once that was done, i made sure to clean up after myself and turn off the light of the bathroom once i left. after doing so, i quietly tiptoed into the living room to see sebastian sitting on one of the couches. i plopped down next to him and took his phone out of his hand.

"goodnight seb," i waved my hand at him repeatedly as i got his attention.

"i like your pajamas," he complimented. "the panda pattern is cute."

"thanks," i smiled.

"goodnight miya," sebastian said, giving me a hug. "make sure to get a good night's sleep."

"i'll try," i joked.

"goodnight miya!" kane said as he walked by, dragging out the last syllable of my name. "i hope you don't get woken up in the middle of the night by ryan screaming over his video game."

"shut the fuck up!" ryan yelled from his room.

"i'm sure he'll be sleeping tonight, for once," oliver said, joining the conversation. "goodnight miya."

"goodnight oli," i answered, standing up and handing sebastian his phone back. "see you all tomorrow."

"um it'll technically be today because it's the morning right now--"

"oh, be quiet darren," i joked, hitting the boy in question on the arm. "see you later today."

"i approve," he grinned back. "sleep well miya."

"i'll try," i called back as i began walking down the hallway and back into my room.

sunlight flooded my room at an annoyingly early hour of the day. my eyes slowly fluttered awake, frustrated by my idiotic self for forgetting to close the curtains. i groaned as i sat up in my bed, checking my phone for the time.

"it's six in the fucking morning are you for real," i grumbled to myself. i decided to scroll through my social media for a little bit for actually waking up. once the clock struck seven, i got out of the comfort of my bed. i went over to the closet and to go pick out my clothes for the day. after settling for a white t-shirt and a pair of jean shorts ripped at the seams, i headed out of my room and went to the bathroom to do my makeup and hair.

i opened the door to the bathroom, careful to not make too much noise so i wouldn't wake any of the boys up. after washing my face and taking care of my skin, i put up my hair in a bun so it wouldn't be in my face while i was doing my makeup. i carefully put some concealer over my dark eye circles and acne scars, choosing to not do a completely full face of makeup out of laziness. after concealer, i carefully drew my eyeliner and finished it by putting a thin layer of mascara on, curling my eyelashes, and then put some chapstick on my lips.

once makeup was done, i decided to do my hair. i undid the bun in my hair and brushed my hair out so it wasn't sticking up everywhere. after i was satisfied with it, i popped my contacts in, thankful to regain good vision.

"okay time to go," i mumbled to myself as i put my stuff away. as i put my contacts case back inside of the small storage bin, i glanced in the mirror, and my jaw dropped at something i hadn't noticed when i was brushing my hair.
