Prolouge Pt. 2

Rose's POV;

"Don't!" Damon said catching Rebekah and I who tried to get to Klaus.

"NO!" I cried. "NO, NO, NO!"

Alaric then pulled the stake out of Klaus and closed the coffin, letting it burn. "Next."

"Rebekah, run!" Damon told us. "Take Rose and run!"

Damon pushed us bothe back from Alaric. Rebekah grabbed me and sped us away. It took us a little while but we were just outside of Mystic Falls metting Elijah, Katherine, and Stefan when I heard Jeremy say Elena wasn't in town and that she was coming back.

Elijah and Katherine heard us and turned around.

"He's gone." I sobbed. "There was nothing we could do to stop it."

Elijah and Katherine pulled us into hugs as they teared up.

"Tyler Lockwood is dead. But the rest survived." Elijah frowned. "You said that Niklaus turned their bloodline."

"I thought he did." Rebekah shook her head.

"It wasn't me, it wasn't Kol." Elijah shook his head.

"It wasn't me either." Rebekah added. "It was Niklaus, I'm sure of it."

"Then how are we still alive?" Katherine asked.

This made me upset. Yes, I'm beyond happy my friends are alive, but I'm pissed that I lost the one who truly loved me because of Elena's jealousy and hatred. I knew where I had to go.

"Where are you going?" Katherine frowned.

"I need to be alone." I replied continuing to walk away, knowing the only way into town for Matt.

I ended up walking all the way to Wickery Bridge, and once I arrived I stood in the middle of the road and called Stefan.

"Hello?" He answered.

"You're still alive, congratulations." I frowned.

"Rosalie?" Stefan questioned.

"Elijah spoke to Elena." I stated. "Her and Matt should be arriving back in town any minute."

"Yeah, he told me that. He also said you, Rebekah, Elijah, and Katherine would be long gone out of town by now." Stefan said confused.

"That's the problem." I stated. "Elijah and Kat says we have to run, that Alaric will keep coming after us, but I don't want to run, Stefan. Not after I lost everything because of Elena. So it's kind of fitting that I'll be the one to end her life, and she'll be activating a new one for me."

"Whatever your talking about, Rose. Stop. We had a deal." Stefan frowned.

"Klaus is dead. Deal is off!" I seethed. "I'm doing everyone a favor by getting rid of the main problem. I thought you of all people would be one of the happiest that Elena is going to be out of the way. And the only way if my sister, aunt, and the originals survive is to get rid of Alaric. I can't get near him personally, he's too strong. But Elena isn't."

I then heard Matt's truck coming up the road.

"Rosalie, no." Stefan pleaded.

"Goodbye, Stefan." I frowned, hanging up as they kept getting closer and closer.

"Matt! Look out!" Elena yelled causing Matt to drive off the bridge instead of hitting me.

Smirking I walked down the road back into town. Good riddence.

I was walking through the woods after a good 10 minutes is when my legs started to give out in pain, I felt my canines grow as my eyes glowed. I walked to a near by stream and saw my new werewold side before it subsided. I'm officially a hybrid.
