Chapter 3

The Next Morning:
Rose's POV:

"Hello?" I groaned, answering my phone.

"Rosalie, it's Carol, we have a bit of a situation." She said making me sit up.

"What's going on?" I asked concerned. "Is Tyler okay?"

Klaus sat up as well, looking at me curiously.

"No, the hunter, Connor, he attacked Tyler last night in the hospital for his venom." Carol sighed. "I already got ahold of Damon but I was wondering if you could talk to Klaus? Maybe get him to look after Tyler, he is an original, plus he did turn Tyler after all."

"I can see what I can do." I agreed. "I'll also go check up on Tyler here soon."

"Actually I'm discherging him now to take him home." Carol informed.

I looked at Klaus and he nodded, grabbing his phone.

"Okay, we're on our way. Klaus is on it." I informed.

"Okay." Carol said relieved. "Thank you."

I hung up and looked at Klaus as he got off the phone.

"Let's get ready and get going." Klaus said. I nodded and agreed.

Later
The Lockwood Mansion:

"Who the hell are you three?" Tyler frowned as him and his mom walked through the door.

"Tyler, it's okay." Carol assured. "They're here for your protection."

"Really?" Tyler scoffed. "More deputies?"

"Not exactly." Klaus said as we walked out.

"They're hybrids." Tyler frowned.

"I heard you were attacked." Klaus stated.

"Nice to know you care." Tyler rolled his eyes.

"I don't, I should have killed you for the little stunt you and your friends pulled, stopping my heart." Klaus frowned.

"Hey, be nice." I frowned. Tyler was about to speak up but I put my hand up. "Both of you."

"Fine." Klaus sighed. "But you hybrids are a dying breed. I can't let more of you died, and I won't have anyone taking liberties with the one's I have left. Consider them your new bodyguards."

Klaus then walked out. I sighed and walked up to Tyler, giving him a hug.

"I'm glad your okay." I sighed.

"Thanks." Tyler smiled. "Want to go watch a movie?"

"Sure." I agreed. Tyler and I were half way through the movie when I heard someone walking in. Tyler and I sat up, seeing a girl I've never met.

"So this is where you've been hiding, huh?" She smiled.

"Hayley?" Tyler asked.

"Hey Lockwolf!" Hayley smiled, giving him a hug. Then smiled at me. "Whose this?"

"Oh, Hayley, this is my friend Rosalie. Rosalie, this is Hayley. She helped me break the sirebond." Tyler introduced.

"It's nice to meet you." I smiled.

"You too." Hayley said shaking my hand. Hayley then turned around and punched Tyler in the chest. "Ass! I thought Klaus killed you."

"You know him?" I frowned confused.

"Only stories." Hayley stated and I nodded. Then she turned back to Tyler. "What's the excuse this time?"

"I should have called." Tyler said apologetically.
