Adella Odette of the aristocratic Pierre household- A pure-blood and a Slytherin. In others eyes, a very cliched one. Perhaps in her own as well. Possessing the haughty good looks along with the intimidating aura of the Pierre's, she carried herself with the poise and elegance of a typical slytherin. She was the personification of the house of Slytherin- ambitious, calculating, foresightful, determined, loyal and most importantly, a great leader. And while, stereotypically, these traits could have caused her downfall, for Adella, these proved to be valuable assets. For the wizarding world held darker secrets, deceitful followers and perfidious leaders. All was going to be unveiled, very, very soon...

"Why?" his hoarse voice whispered, "Why did they make you do this?"
"It was my choice. I chose to do so and I had my reasons."
I felt his hands on my shoulders as he turned me around to face him. It pained me to see his reddened eyes filled with tears but the pain didn't last too long. His expression soon turned sardonic, a satirical smile painted on his face.
"Adella, do you know how bloody stupid you are?" He scoffed, "You willingly betrayed us? I thought you were different, but it turns out that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?"
"You're one to talk, love. Not everyone is morally as great as you are. Or did you forget? Didn't you leave him behind? Didn't you willingly betray your brother as well? I've had my reasons, you've had yours and I do not wish to know them. Now, since you dislike me so much, we must keep our distance, shouldn't we? I'd like to remind you, not everything is black and white, love, life is not that simple. What you consider to be good, might be disagreeable for others. Farewell, Sirius, you were good company."

"There you are." The Dark Lord whispered as he turned around to look at me with his burning red orbs.
"Yes my lord." At this moment, I felt no fear. How could I? When I chose to do this.
Did it hurt? Well I do not remember clearly. Perhaps it did, perhaps it didn't. All I know is that It lasted for a few seconds.
"I've heard a lot about you, Pierre. You joined rather willingly? Was it to uphold the 'Pierre' name?" He looked intrigued. I reckon many death eaters of my age are not very convincing.
"No, my lord. I joined by my own free will."
"Well, well. You will be a valuable resource of mine." He left me with that.
