manbun. //Christian akridge [hiatus]

1. manbun

Brinley worked at Starbucks and the amount of manbuns she saw on a daily basis was ridiculous, she didn't really get the whole 'manbun' thing and she found it extremely unattractive. the only manbun she could handle was famous vine star, Christian Akridge's, though she still found it quite unattractive. Christian had to be Brinley's favourite viner and person in general, he made Brinley happy which was rare since she had high walls built around her and her happiness. she just recently found out that they live in the same city and that he came to Starbucks quite a bit, she must have not be working at the time.

BRINLEY'S POV
the day was slow and I was getting extremely sick of all the basics with their manbuns and iPhone6 plus's.
i was sitting in the back when Christian tweeted "@christianleave: hey cute girl working at starbs I see you"
I looked him up and saw the adorable boy with the very unattractive bun staring at me, since I was the only one working I got up and walked towards him pretending to not know who he was. while walking towards him I calmed myself down, "hi, what would you like" I said quieter than I had planned, all I could stare at was that bun.. I had to say something. Christian stared at me for about five seconds before he actually spoke "I'll have a venti raspberry refresher and a grande your number." I was a bit surprised at his confidence, "I would give you my number, but you have a manbun.." I managed to somehow squeak out confidently "well, you are very cute. I can take my bun out if you'd like?" he said more as a question and I finally just came out and said, "why do you have a manbun? they are so unattractive" and I felt bad right after because he looked like a hurt little puppy, "I like buns and you also have a bun in, I would like my Starbucks now" he sounded very annoyed as he tugged his bun until it was non-existent. i made a very disgusted face as I walked away to make his drink which took about two minutes, "Christian's venti raspberry refresher". he was on his phone probably tweeting about how rude I was, after about two minutes he locked his phone and walked towards his drink, "hand me your phone and I'll put my number in" we both looked a bit surprised at my words, I put my number in and then called my myself, so I would have his number in my phone without actually asking for him to type it in. Christian sat down at the only available table and proceeded typing. I checked Twitter and I was correct when I said that he was tweeting about me
"@christianleave: the barista told me that my bun was ugly :("
"@christianleave: She's so cute tho aw"
"@christianleave: got her number and about to text her"
"@christianleave: she's staring at me omg she probably thinks I'm creepy"
"@christianleave: maybe I shouldn't text her.. nah I'm going to"
"@christianleave: just texted her"

I checked my phone and I was super nervous to see what he sent me

Christian: when do you get off? :)
me: in 10 minutes
Christian: would you like to walk around and get to know eachother?
me: yes, that'd be nice :-)
Christian: what was that?
me: what??
Christian: :-)?
me: a smily face with a nose..
Christian: only 5 more minutes to go
me: actually my shift is over, but I'm making myself a frap.
Christian: :( hurry up
me: okay okay

CHRISTIAN'S POV
I walked into a very busy, yet a very slow Starbucks and I couldn't see anyone at the till. I waited for about 10 minutes and still didn't see anyone, I decided to take a look at the back and saw a very adorable female with long straight dark brown hair with half of her hair up in a bun, she had very red lips and a dramatic winged eyeliner. I decided to tweet something since I didn't want to interrupt her, she was probably texting someone.

"@christianleave: hey cute girl working at starbs I see you"
she looked up immediately after that, I wonder if she saw the tweet because she looked kinda flustered as she got up, I really hope she doesn't fangirl or scream. no, no, instead she insulted my manbun, I was very upset, but I took it out to make the cute girl happy. I got very annoyed since we kept talking and I just wanted my drink, so I told her that I want my drink. after that I walked away and continued to tweet about her, I heard my name called, but I was in the middle of a tweet. I got up two minutes later and to my surprise she gave me her number and we talked for 5 minutes, I walked away, sat down, and continued tweeting about her while getting the nerve to text her. I texted her and now we are hanging out soon, this is going to be a really really good day.
