" J-James..? " ~ Bucky ~ fluff

imagine: during The Blip, James disappeared, and you're not doing too well. time skip 5 years later, you're in the avengers tower and something happens. song: tell me why - danny g ft. shiloh dynasty (p.s. LOTS OF CRYING LMFOAJOAJ)

   You were in your room reading your boyfriend's journal. He used to use it to cope when you were on missions, like writing down his feelings, what happens each day, etc. The whole team knew that you weren't handling his disappearance too well, so they gave you the journal. As you were reading it everybody except Steve was yelling outside, he was on a mission. You wanted to see what was going on, so you walked down like 100 flights of stairs. Once you got all the way to the bottom, you were frozen.

"J-James..?"

"Hey, Doll." 

   You ran up to him and hugged him like it was the last time you were ever going to see him. You both started crying in each others arms. "I missed you so fucking much.." he said as he was sobbing. "I missed you too, love" you replied.

   You both went back into your shared room, and explained what happened over the years. You said how you weren't doing well when he disappeared. You told him how you almost tried to kill innocent people to cope, and how Natasha and Steve stopped you. As you both were explaining what happened you both were crying as well. Bucky had you in his arms, and then the team called you guys down for dinner. When you guys were walking down, Steve was there. Bucky froze dead in his tracks and then ran to Steve, crying once again.

"God, I missed you Steve."

"I missed you too, man."

Once you all got situated at the table, you all said grace and how thankful you guys are that everyone comes back alive on missions, and how Bucky is back. When you all were eating, Bucky put his hand on your thigh, rubbing soft, soothing circles.

"I love you, Doll."
