TAEHYUNG PUSHES THE DOORS OPEN TO THE OLD CASTLE LIBRARY. Greeted with the shelves that reach the high rounded ceilings with books from centuries display in the cases, the ladders that lean against them are dusted and grimey. No one visits this old place because they are well aware of their kingdom's history and heritage. The lands present arcane but Taehyung has educated his mind to be knowledgeable. Or so he thought.

Armelle dug up countless questions, worrying and scary. If it's possible for human to be connected to someone without a heart. Vampires connect through their souls, but how can an unmagical being be bounded to a creation of hell? The question remains unanswered for the time being.

As the thoughts course through Taehyung's mind like the long winding rivers that flow outside of the tall windows. He notices the hunched over figure of his father, his eyes stuck into the long paragraphs that reside in the yellowed pages of his book. The desk he sits lays in a dim corner, illuminated by the lit lantern placed on it.

Taehyung paces up to him discreetly, knocking on the wood of the desk as Taeyoung lifts his head up towards him. Pulling his glasses from his face as he stands from his chair.

"What's so important you summon me here on my coronation day, father?" Taehyung raises a brow.

"Well, since it regards the queen it's most important." Taeyoung closes the book, bringing it under his arm as he approaches the younger.

"It's a good thing you've uncovered something then. I worried you were dead from how much you've loitered in this wretched place." Taehyung says in slight disgust off the dust that coats the bottom of his shined black shoes.

"Don't get your hopes up. But, what I've found should peak your interest as far as the tying ritual goes."

"Just when I thought you found a way to somehow undo this... you give me ways to make it permanent." Taehyung pinches the bridge of his nose.

"You can't toy with the universe's decisions, son. Your stars are aligned and constellations cannot be rearranged." Taeyoung bluntly says, pulling the torn and tainted scrolls he had lined up open from their casings.

"If I had the power I'd rewrite them.." Taehyung curses to himself, crossing his arms. His father chuckles, the largest scroll in his hand is opened. It rolls to the other side of the table with ease and slight clouds of dust as it displays a painted picture of a woman.

A crown upon her head and long slick black hair, in her hands she holds the sun and moon. Taehyung recognizes this tapestry as if it were apart of his entire childhood, but that's only because it was.

"Are you aware of who this is..?" Taeyoung asks, eyeing Taehyung curiosisly.

"Queen Kim Soyoung. It's who your named after, since egotism seems to course through this family's veins." Taehyung rolled his eyes, referring to his own name.
