Jake's POV

Great we are already late.
I thought to myself as we ran to get to are spots for my older sister Lorraines graduation.

We got to are seats just in time to hear them call Lorraine Baker and see her walk across the stage

The poor people stuck sitting behind my dad couldn't see because he was dancing around in a circle while cheering for her.

Time skips

The graduations finally over and now it is time for the best part the after party

My older brother Henry was playing his clarinet with his friends from school and he actually sounds really good.

The music stopped and Mom and Dad got on stage to talk about Lorraine.

"Aright it is time to toast the graduate. Lorraine we are all so proud of you... for keeping your chin up and charging the mountain. And for being a truly unique and wonderful person." My dad said looking at Lorraine

"And for getting that internship at allure magazine. Did you know about that." He said bragging to everyone about his daughter

"Even though I'm going to spend the entire summer trying to convince you to stay in Chicago is a much better choice for your future than moving to a dirty, expensive, crime-ridden New York City,"

"Ok." my mom says trying to get my dad to stop talk about this topic

"But here's to Lorraine." My dad said finally stopping the tangent he went on.

"Okay, uh, my daughter Nora, and her husband Bud, you want to say something, And are future linebacker." My Dad says starting another lecture from mom later

Nora starts talking into the microphone and said

"Uh, first of all, congratulations, Lorraine. Bud and I hope that our baby will be as cool and accomplished as you. And second of all, I don't mean to make this toast all about Bud and I, but we have some kind of big news."

Bud goes to the mic and said something are Dad was not ready to hear

"I've, um, just been offered the vice-presidency of a new advertising firm."

Everyone started clapping

"In Houston. We're moving in September. Thank you."And we all watched Nora and Bud run off the stage

The whole Baker family was in shock

Later on Dad came up to me Mark and Mike and asked

"Hey guys ready for some touch?"

"Mike and Me are competing at the skate park." I said "and I volunteered at the animal shelter." Mark said as we all walked away.

Time skips

Mom and dad gathered us all in the living room and got Lorraine and Charlie on the phone.

"Alright we got a surprise, your mom and I rented the big house up in Lake Winnetka."

"Winnetka? That's my middle name.
And Lake is mine." Kyle and Nigel said

"And it's where we're gonna spend Labor Day, just like in the old days."

"Dad, I'm gonna be very pregnant then." Said Nora

"Yeah, and I'm gonna be apartment shopping in New York in August." Lorraine said through the phone

"And I want to hang out with my friends this summer dude." I added in to the conversation

"How come Nigel and I are named after a house?"
