Danny had to know. Jr was eighteen now and he just looked way to much like Dan and it was driving Danny insane. He had to know and so he snuck to Clockworks while his son was asleep since the first time he tried to find out was a disaster since jr freaked out and well Danny wasn't about to see his son freak out like that again.
It only took him a couple minutes to get there and now he was standing outside. He took a deep breathe before going in and then he saw Clockwork. Sitting with the thermos in his lap. "Clockwork. Be honest. Dan's not in there is he?" Clockwork nodded. "Why are you asking me if you already know?" I didn't answer and Clockwork smiled "If your wondering yes. Danny Jr is Dan." Clockwork then told me what he did and I was furious. "You did all of this on purpose!?" I was ready to fight him when the old ghost suddenly asked "Would you do it again? Raise Dan?" I blinked and found myself answering "Yes. He was a good kid but... What you did was wrong Clockwork." Clockwork hummed "Perhaps but the end was right. Dan gets to make up for his mistakes and be the hero he dreamed of before becoming a monster and you dont have to be afraid of him anymore. All is as it should be." I glared into his back but he had a point. I was nowhere near afraid of Dan and jr was a hero. I sighed before leaving. Clockwork was a bastard but he was a clever one. Damn him. I smiled when I got home and and realized jr was up looking through the pantry. "Is someone misbehaving?" I chided while walking in the door and he looked over with a face full of oreo and smiled and I allowed myself to ease because Dan wasn't a monster anymore and honestly I didn't believe him and jr were the same either. This was a new ghost and I loved him for it. I ruffled his hair before going to my room. My son. Sure he might of been a monster in the past but he was a hero now.
