"Miss Alice, pardon my asking but, did you sleep at all?" I looked up at the earl and smiled "actually thats the best sleep ive gotten in years" the earl looked taken aback "Pardon?" I giggled and put my fork down. "I dont sleep very often, i have whats called insomnia. Its where my body and brain wont let me sleep, on the average id say i get 30 minutes of sleep and then go back to work. Its how ive been all my life" "is that why your uh.." he pointed under his eye. "Oh dear!" I took out my pocket mirror and examined myself. I had forgotten to put of my makeup this morning. "U-uhm sorry excuse me ill be right back" i got up quickly and went to my room. Not long after while i was still fixing my makeup i heard a knock. "Who is it?" "Its sebastian miss" "oh come in" as i was pulling on the bottom of my eye lid and putting more skin toned makeup on i felt someone hand stop me. Looking up i see Sebastian "Yes?" I ask confusedly "My lady i would like to suggest you dont use thay shade, and to ask if you've ever used a dream catcher." I let sebastian take the little brush with makeup on it away and do it himself. "Yes i have tried dream catchers, they're what made me loose even more sleep, i used to get atleast 3 hours. When my hand maiden brought a dream catcher to help me, i was very grateful. But unfortunately that thing surfaced bad memories and dreams, we've tried other i just get even less sleep. What did you put in that tea last night sebastian? I would really like to know." I smiled up at him.
In reality sebastian felt pitty and tiny bit of sadness for the human, he did infact find her quite attractive with or without makeup on. The next thing he did was unspeakable.
As i was smiling up at him i felt him cup my cheeks gently, and the next thing i knew he was kissing me.
