Hope had been in a much happier mood ever since she'd learnt of Angie finally waking up. It had been days since she'd rushed to the hospital with Lexie to hear the news, and ever since then Angel had woken up once more but it had only last again a few minutes, and Hope had regrettably missed it.
Currently, Caroline was seated at the table with Jackson and Lola, as the Robbins had made them all breakfast. Hope exited her room in her scrubs, to join them.
"You should start paying rent." The Rodriguez joked as she sat beside Jackson. "Excuse me?" He asked, pretending to be offended. "You come over and eat here almost every day." Hope teased, as it was true.
"Maybe I just like the company." Jackson suggested as Cara looked to him, "Cute, but it doesn't help with our food bill." She said.
Jackson looked to Hope, "Why don't I make some meals? So it's not always you two cooking?" He suggested as Hope looked to him, "Or you could just move in... it could be like old times." She smiled.
"Ah, Hope... may I remind you that we live in a two bedroom apartment." Cara reminded the Rodriguez. Hope shrugged, "That is true... but our lease ends in two months, maybe we should look at a bigger place."
"That would be pretty cool... I'd definitely be happy to move in with you guys. What about Angie and Lola?" The Avery asked.
"Well, considering Angie is probably going to be in debt once she wakes up, I assume she'll want to move in with us." Hope spoke, as Cara did like the idea, especially because it meant Lolita would be around more.
"Okay... so we'll start looking for a bigger place?" Caroline suggested as Hope nodded, liking the idea. "Yeah cool, I'll keep my eyes out for something." Jackson responded.
"Aunty Hope... can we see Mummy today?" Lola piped up, as she was stabbing her scrambled eggs with her fork. Hope nodded, "Of course sweetie, we'll go after school." She suggested as Lola nodded.

Hope was working with Addison Montgomery for the day, which she wasn't opposed to. Addison was really intelligent, plus she was hot.
The pair had been fetched by Mark, and followed him into a room where Sloan laid in a hospital. Arizona was there, as she showed Addison and Hope the MRI for Sloan's baby.
"As the legs continue to grow, the bands will cut off his circulation." Addison explained to Sloan as Hope held her arms across her chest as she listened to the Montgomery.
"If we wait, we risk severe damage to the left leg. Possible loss of the right entirely. But if we operate... 22 weeks, it's... it's still risky." The Montgomery continued, "But if you don't operate, you're not gonna kill the baby."
"We can rehabilitate the remaining part of his leg. After he's born, and we can fit him with a prosthesis. It's entirely possible that he'll walk." Arizona explained to Mark and his daughter.
"Oh, my god."
"Honey, we've got options here." Mark spoke to his daughter. "If we operate, Dr Montgomery can remove the bands, he'll be just fine." He began. "Or we can wait a few weeks till he's bigger and stronger, and we know the surgery is less risky."
"Well, which one of you did he sleep with?" Sloan asked the girls as both Arizona and Hope frowned before they said in unison, "Oh, not me."
"You told her?" Addison asked Mark in shock as Mark shrugged, "She's my kid.We were bonding."
"That is not how you bond with children!" Addison retorted as Mark replied, "I'm still getting the hang of it."
"So you're sure that he didn't, like, knock you up and leave you with a child to raise on your own or something? You're not just, like, really pissed and you're trying to get revenge?" Sloan asked Addison with worry, while Hope was trying not to laugh in the background. Arizona stepped in front of the woman, so Sloan couldn't see the Rodriguez.
"No. no. It... it was a long time ago,
okay? The fact is, Mark...Your father— is a good guy. And I think you're a good kid, and I'm gonna do everything I can to help you with your baby.." Addison assured Sloan, which made her feel more at ease."Okay, well, let's just get these things off his legs right now." The blonde decided.
"I'll book an OR." Addison decided before she looked to Hope. "Giggles, you're with me."

Hope found the surgery with Addison to be really interesting, though it made her realise she didn't want to specialise in paediatrics.
She always knew she wanted to be a neurosurgeon but was open to trying and learning everything else along the way. Even though Hope had never wanted to be a mother, she felt extra stressed working on children in surgery.
Mark walked by Hope, stopping as he saw her. "Hey." He greeted, as Hope looked up at him. "Hey, how's Sloan doing?" The Rodriguez asked.
"She's good. She's actually going to move in with me after LA." Mark said, seeming really excited. "Nice, i'm glad everything is working out for you both." Hope admitted.
"Thank you for your help today." Mark said, before the pair said their goodbyes and parted ways. Hope had never expected to become friends with Mark... but she seemed to like him.
With the day coming to an end, Hope changed into a more casual attire before exiting the lounge. The Rodriguez bumped into Jackson, who'd finished work earlier and picked Lola up from school for Hope.
"Aunty!!" Lolita called out, rushing to hug Hope. "Hey Lola, how was school?" Hope asked the young girl who had a beaming smile. "School was fun— look I made you a paper crane!" Lola spoke before she held up a handmade paper crane made of sky blue paper.
"Thank you honey, oh it's cute!" Hope confessed, knowing she'd cherish it forever before she looked to Jackson. "Thank you so much for picking her up." She said.
"It's no drama, Lola and her Uncle J had fun." Jackson said before Lola added, "We stopped at McDonalds!" She loudly announced before Jackson looked at the girl, "Hey! You weren't supposed to tell her that!" He reminded her as the young girl just laughed.
Jackson and Hope said their goodbyes before Hope and Lolita headed upstairs to visit Angie. Lola hummed a tune as they did, but came to an abrupt stop as they entered the room to see Angelina sitting upright in her bed, awake.
"Mummy!!" Lola cried out, as she let go of Hope's hand and rushed over to her mother. "My baby." Angie spoke with a teary smile, hugging Lola as the small girl practically jumped into her arms.
"I was scared you weren't going to wake up, Mummy." Lola cried, as Angelina held her daughter. "It's okay honey, I'm here now.. and I'm not going anywhere, okay?" The Rodriguez assured her daughter, as she cried.
Hope was next to rush over to Angie, tears in her eyes as she threw her arms around her younger sister. Growing uncomfortable with being squished between the two older Rodriguez, Lola escaped their arms and moved to sit further down the bed whilst the sisters hugged and cried.
The small girl watched her Mother and Aunt hug, as neither one of them wanted to let go.
