I go outside with a Winter coat,
But the wind still whips my face,
My fingers are cold as icicles,
And so I quicken my pace.
Why did the Government do this to us?
Why when it's oh so cold,
The rumours are spreading everywhere,
How are people so bold?
Why the 1 hour walk,
Every single day,
COVID is just the worst sometimes,
Oh how I wish it were May.
Spring makes everything get that little bit warmer,
With baby animals, Easter and sun,
But that's next year, a whole 3 months away,
Right that's it. I'm done.
COVID is such a horrid nightmare,
With not being able to be free,
Free from the masks, the social distancing,
I just wanna be me.
