“I know you” Josh said

“No, you don’t” I lied

“Totally know ‘er” He said to Seth who’s been staring at us the whole time

“He doesn’t” I said

“You’re the one I ran into the other night, right?” He said, and because he said that, I remembered how unlucky my night became because of his clumsiness. I just can’t contain my anger and irritation whenever I see his annoying – but handsome – face. But then I didn’t answer, not knowing what I’m supposed to say I just looked anyway and fade at the conversation, I don’t know what his problem is but I swear, he has the killer stare which makes the moment a little, I mean an awful lot awkward.

“God, Josh would you stop looking at me like that?” I said

“Why not?” He said frowning his lips

“It’s creepy”  I said

“Creepy, Me? Haha, yeah right” Ugh. What’s wrong with this man?

“Yeah, but it’s much more creepier when you’re drunk and fell into someone with their drink without even apologizing, that’s nice” I said

“I actually took time looking for you” he said

“Wouldn’t it be much better if you stood up for yourself and said sorry than running away?” I said

“Someone’s chasing me”

“I didn’t see anyone chasing you”

“Maybe you weren’t looking”

“Maybe I wasn’t, but that’s no reason not to apologize” Geez. What’s wrong with me? It’s just a stupid night with misunderstandings, Stop defending yourself TRICIA!! UGH!

“Look, I’m sorry, okay? Would you just calm down now? Jesus, what’s wrong with you?” he said in a very irritating manner, Why in the whole wide world is he so – Ugh. I want to leave, like right now.

“Oh, would you look at the time” I said glancing at my watch

“It’s a pleasure meeting you gentlemen, but I have to go” I said formally.

“Where the hell are you going?” Paula asked killing me with those steamy and sharp eyes.

“I forgot to tell you, but I have to meet Giana at her house, because we’re going to play with her Xbox while doing our Algebra” I lied, just to get out of this stupid restaurant.

“Giana’s out of town, so I’m sorry if you only knew now, now sit” She said having a large bite at her sandwich.

“I meant Natalie” I shook my head like I was mistaken

“Her great grandmother died”

Shit. Is all I can say

“Now please, take a seat darling” Paula scarily said, as I go back to my place sitting next to “the jerk”

“You’re such a great liar, do you know that?” Josh said making it sound so teasing.

“I don’t think I’m the only one”  I said and Josh just made a tsk-ing sound as we all continue to eat our food. Ugh. Déjà vu.
