That can’t be. I mean, Natalie and the band always practice at her garage, yes, we have a band, but she never told me she has a brother or even if he isn’t she never told me anything about the people living there. What the heck?
“You’re lying” I laughed
“What makes you say that?” he challenged
“W-Well, I happen to have a band and we always, I tell you, Always do band practices in that garage” I said pointing at his, I meant Natalie’s house “And I never see you there, she never even told me about you” I continued
“That’s because you never went inside the house, Natalie and I aren’t that close” he said “By the way, nice band name. Silent Vixens” he said as I made a confused face. How the hell did he knew that? I thought to myself. Ugh. Natalie.
“I thought you great grandmother died” I said
“She’s not my great grandmother” he said
“Aren’t you, like, her brother or something?” I asked
“She’s my cousin” he said “Her great grandmother, uhm, mother side” he continued nodding
“Right, but what are you doing in her house” I said
“It’s our house, she’s just living with us” he said
“What?!?” I said shocked. Where are her parents? Don’t they have a house of their own that they need to live with some people like him?
“Tricia!” Ivy called out
“Yes” I said back. She opened my bedroom door and went in, walking towards me at my balcony
“Are you going to eat the cookies I made you?” She asked
“Maybe la-“ I was cut
“Hey there, Josh” Ivy said, my eyes widened. How on earth? Am I really the only person who doesn’t know this guy? Josh just nodded and saluted at her. Ivy then looked at me
“What?” she said like she’s in trouble
“You know him” I said nodding like a weirdo
“He’s our neighbor, right?” She said, that’s an understatement, I believe.
“You know him” I repeated not knowing what to say
“What’s wrong with that?” she said. I just stared at her, completely speechless, and I thought, What is wrong with that? Ugh
“Anyway, if you don’t want to eat the cookies I’ll just give it to Josh” she said
“Thanks, Ivy” Josh said
“I’ll eat it” I blurted as she clearly went to the kitchen to get those cookies
“You might be needing help in eating those cookies” he said
“I can manage” I said as I’ve wanted to leave the balcony. I finally, finally decided to follow Ivy downstairs. I start to close the balcony door shut but he interrupted.
“No ‘Goodbye, Josh’?” he said. I left the door opened and took something from my bed, it was my small teddy bear with something on it that involves metal, and barged through the balcony simply smiling. He obviously smiled and that was the time that I threw my favorite teddy bear at him. I hit his face.
“Ow!” he said touching his face
“Have a nice day” I said turning back locking the door shut and let the curtain fly close to the glass door. My phone started beeping again, and again, notifying me that I have a text message. It said
That hurts. You know you will pay for that. Xx
What with the ‘x’s, does this guy have hand malfunction, unbelievable. But then I replied to him
