The figure slipped away into the night, we obviously weren't important to him. Lys started crying and so did I. Our parents were out cold on the floor.
"Will they wake up?" Lys asked me
I knew the answer but I couldn't say it
"yeah." I replied.
The ministry later heard of what happened and while our friend from down the hill, Misty, was cooking dinner for us the door opened.
"Lorcan and Lysander Longbottom?" asked the stern voice of Kingsley Shaklebolt.
We didn't say anything but he knew it was us.
"Misty, you'd better go home now." The man said.
"yeah." she mumbled as she grabbed her broom from the porch.
"Boys, after the tragic death-"
"IT WAS A MURDER!" I screamed at him.
"Hmm.. yes I know. But you boys have no other relatives and will have to find home else where." Kingsley told us, wiping my spit of his face.
"Where?" Lys asked.
"We thought about moving you to the Potter's." He smiled weakly and held his arm out.
We hopped onto his arm and swirled through the air of apparation and landed right at the front door of number 12, Godric's Hallow. I felt like there were 100 elephants stampeding in my stomach.
"You know who the murderer was?" I asked Kingsley, who didn't seem to reaslise my volcanic digestive system.
"Yes." he sighed as he disapparated.
