Jimin sadly smiles as Sana sits down in front of him. It's been a while since they've met now, but she still comes by to see him once a week. She's so grateful to him for helping her with her ex-boyfriend and it shows. He's insisted time and time again that it was his job... but she still was grateful as hell. Jimin understands that though. What he doesn't understand is how anyone can put their hands on someone they love. Hitting your partner out of anger or drunkenness? There's no excuse for that. However two good things came out of the situation: A) his 'friendship' (a cautious friendship cause he's a professor) with Sana, and B) he got inspired to be softer around Y/n. He wants to prove to her just how much he cares.
Regardless he brings himself out of his thoughts. "What brings you here this morning Sana?" "I'm glad you asked Mr. Park," she chimes. He smiles, "you're looking much better." "I feel better. I've been working on myself I guess you could say." She smiles back, "though a lot of that is thanks to you, you gave me the methods to do so." "Writing a list of self-care lifehacks isn't a big deal." "It was to me," she gently says, "so really... thank you."
He gives her a nod and keeps his grin, "in that case, you're welcome." Yoongi walks in mere moments later, stopping when he sees Sana inside. "Uh... Jimin what's going on?" Yoongi asks. "Oh - Sana, this is my best friend Yoongi. Yoongi, Sana. She's a future student of mine." "So you're casually hanging out with future students?" Yoongi pushes, raising a brow. Ah, he's testing Jimin. He can't really blame the older man to be honest. If he had a girl best friend he'd want to make sure her partner is good to her.
"He helped me solve something," Sana calmly explains. Thank God for her. "Something... serious. Like, crime related. I had no one else to really turn to and he was new, just like I was to the whole situation so I thought maybe he could help... and he did." Yoongi lights up in understanding, looking a bit guilty for a split second. "I see. I'm sorry you had to go through that," he replies with a small nod. He seems genuine but also keeps his words short and to the point. Jimin can respect that.
"Jimin, we do need to talk when you have a minute." Jimin shrugs, "I'll be out in say... three minutes?" Jimin looks to Sana to confirm, and she nods. "Three minutes," Sana agrees. Yoongi hums, "alright. I'll be waiting outside." He steps out and closes the door, Jimin going over and locking it. "I'm seriously tired of people walking in here," Jimin mumbles to himself. Luckily Sana didn't hear it seeing as she's nose-deep in her textbook.
"Something on your mind?" he questions as he walks over to the desk she made her home. "Yeah I was just thinking. The usual. I think a lot," she timidly says. He chuckles and sits in the desk next to her, "do you need any help? Or did you come here for comfort?" "Comfort," she sadly whispers, "I can go now, since you need to talk to your friend." He shakes her off, "two more minutes. I don't see the harm. Why don't you close your book? Let's talk."
She does and turns to face him. "What do you want to talk about?" she inquires. As much as he likes Sana, whenever he talks to a girl that isn't Y/n he realizes just how special the one he has is. Y/n is the type to start conversations about pink pens that's how talkative she is. A lot of others want him to start the conversation, meanwhile Y/n grabs him by the balls and makes him talk about stuffed unicorns and the theory of life for three hours. She's wild, that's for sure. Even with his guy friends he feels it. Y/n's so easy to talk to. The easiest person to talk to. Another reason why he loves her so dearly.
"Whatever you want. You go first. Anything you want to ask me? Any questions about school or more lifehacks?" "I have one actually," she shyly starts, "but it's not a fun question." "Well life isn't fun, so hit me." She looks at him and sighs, "it's about you but... I don't want to make you uncomfortable." He frowns, "I appreciate that you're considering that. What is it? I can't really tell you if it'll make me uncomfortable if I don't have any details. It's okay Sana, you can talk to me." She seems put at ease by his words, "is it true that you and Y/n are together?" He goes still.
The rumors are still going around? "I won't tell anyone if it's true. You kept my secret about my ex so it's only fair I return the favor to you," she's quick to say, slightly panicking, "a-and you don't have to tell me, I'm sorry that was stupid. You probably feel really uncomfortable." He sighs and shakes his head, "it's okay. It's something I've been asked before." "Really? That's... kind of sad. Probably not by students you talk to like this?" He finds himself shaking his head again, "no. Always by random girls who walk up to my desk, sway their hips, then ask me while batting their eyelashes. And to answer your question - no, it's not true. Y/n and I are best friends outside of school. You know how I said Yoongi's my best friend?" She nods. "I've known him since before I started teaching. His best friend is Y/n."
She instantly beams, "ahhh I see, that's why everyone says you look so close." "They're saying we look close? I thought those rumors died a while ago." "They started again around last month, when someone said you two were saying I love you to each other in the library." Jimin's face goes pale, "wha... what?" She shrugs, "I heard from my friends that someone eavesdropped on your conversation at the library. Something about you two celebrating being together for two months, you supporting her, love, I don't know the details I wasn't really listening to be honest. I was more worried about you." Well uh... oops...
He stands, "I need to talk to Yoongi. If people are twisting our words that much it's only a matter of time before people start being rude to me and her. Not to mention the dean will be up my ass about it." She nods in agreement, "is there anything I can do to help?" "Please, if anyone asks you about the rumors or you hear anyone talking about it..." "I'll tell them the truth," she replies with a sweet smile. He pats her on the shoulder, "thank you. I really appreciate that."
Jimin backs up and walks over to the doors, "come see me again next week sometime. I'm glad we met Sana. I mean it." She nods with that same sweet smile and he walks out of the room. Yoongi's waiting. "We need to talk," Yoongi mutters. "No shit, I just heard from her that more rumors are passing. What the hell is going on-" "Mr. Park!" Shit. Jimin gulps and turns around, noticing the damn dean of the school walking towards them.
"That... is what I wanted to talk about," Yoongi grumbles, "the dean was looking for you everywhere." "Shit," he mutters. "Shit is right," Yoongi mutters back. Dean Lee Sungmin walks up to Jimin, his posture intimidating even though for the first time in his life - Jimin's taller than the man in front of him. It's only by a little bit, it's barely noticeable, but it's enough to make Jimin feel a little bit better about himself.
"I've been calling all around for you yet here you are. My office, five minutes. I'll be waiting. Finish up here," Sungmin says in what feels like one breath. The man doesn't wait for an answer, he just turns on his heel and walks away. Jimin sighs and watches him as he goes. "I'm screwed, aren't I?" Jimin asks Yoongi. "Honestly? Probably," Yoongi replies with a tongue click. Jimin lets out a sigh. Well... shit...
