Chapter 5

When they had released me from the hospital, I had been exstatic. I had missed my very warm comfortable bed. But of course my mom couldn't even let me rest untill I had gone shopping for new school clothes with Blair. I really didn't want too, but mom insisted because I started school tomorow again. I was nervous about school because I didnt know how people would react when they saw me again. Especially Aiden, I didn't want him to treat me any differently. We arrived at the mall a couple of hours later after I had gotten out of the hospital. My mom had bought me new clothes to wear for after I had left for home with them. Blair stepped into DKNY, I took a quick glance around and automatically like the clothing. Blair and I were looking through a couple of colorful off the shoulder shirts, when Kimberly and her crew plus a couple of the football team guys including Emmet, walked in.  

"Hey Blair." said Kimberly when she spotted us. The whole football team was checking me out, I started quirming after five minutes of non-stop staring.  

"Who's she? Guy's take a picture it'll last longer." Kimberly said rolling her eye's. A couple of guys actually took their phones out. Wow their pathetic, I thought, couldnt they see that it was really me. The Avery they all made fun off since the third grade. 

"She's m-" Blair started to say before I cut her off. 

"I'm her cousin Kyrie."I blurted out before I could stop myself. Kimberly smiled and extended her hand out.  

"Nice to meet you, are you just visiting?" she asked. Blair opened up her mouth to say something but I cut her off with a glare. 

"Yep! Just visiting!" I said smirking. Wow! This was fun, Kimberly was so stupid I could laugh. 

"Oh that sucks! Well anyways I'll leave you guys to 'bond'. Come guys were leaving." she said making air quotes when she said bond, then strutting off to the next store. A couple of the guys asked for my number before they left. All I did was laugh in their face so hard that I couldn't seem to stop. Eventually they got mad and left. Blair turned towards me with a confused look in her face. 

"Why did you lie to them?"  

"Because if I told them now, then they'd tell everyone by tomorow and it wont be a surprised anymore. Actually I'm glad they didn't ask you about me." I said happily. The number one reason why I lied is because I wanted to see their shocked reaction tomorow and realized that I wasnt the same girl anymore. 

"By the way Kari has been calling the house non-stop, so I suggest you call her asap when you get home." Blair said while grabbing everything that was cute and making a pile on her arms. 

"I will, did Aiden call?" I asked curiously. 

"No" Blair said sighing. I frowned and walked into a dressing room. Trying not to think too much about Aiden. I tried on every outfit and Blair let me keep all the one's that looked absolutely amazing on me.  

When we got home I dumped all of my bags in my closet and sat on top of the bed. Sighing I picked up the phone and dialed Kari. After a couple of rings she answered. 

"AVERY!!! Omg! You had me so worried! You were gone for three month's and then you dont call me when you get out!! I'm pissed at you! Btw I'm coming over right now!" she said practically screaming in my ear. I could hear her car running in the background. 

"Calm down Kari! Um.. I'm going to look different when you get here." I said biting my lip nervously. 

"What?! How different?" Kari asked, I heard a door slam shut and seconds later the bell rang. I hung up and walked out of my room. I opened the door and there stood Kari, her jaw hung open. She was speechless. I waved my hand in front of her. Still she did not move.
