a kind of spark // licorice cookie x red velvet cookie

1 ~ not-so-normal morning.

To Licorice, today seemed like a pretty normal day. Besides him having nightmare of some sort, but it didn't bother him that much. It wasn't like it was an itch he needed to scratch. Although he was afraid his said nightmare might become reality, he didn't doubt it.
Suddenly, there was a knock at his door. He heard some muffled talking but he went to open it anyway, what would anyone want at 6 in the morning?
He open the door, and there's Pomegranate cookie and Strawberry Crepe Cookie.
"What do you want?" Licorice said in his raspy morning voice.
"We're here to tell you a new cookie will be joining us, and you're gonna be working with them for a while." Pomegranate said.
"Be afraid too, he's a big guy." Strawberry Crepe said, trying his best to get Licorice worked up over nothing.
'Alright, great, that's gonna be so fun.' Licorice thought to himself, he wanted to work by himself. NOT with some peasant he didn't even know.
"Alright. What's their name and where to I meet them?." Licorice said, clearly done with the other cookies visit.
"His name is Red Velvet Cookie, you'll meet him at the cake tower." Pomegranate said, as she was slowly backing away from the door frame.
"Cake tower? Okay, great. I'll just get ready now then. Byebye!!" Licorice rambled, and slammed his door.
Now. Where did he put his scythe?

(TIMESKIP WOOOAHS)

As Licorice was walking to the cake tower, he realized something. Maybe Red Velvet Cookie would actually be a good- ,,, co-worker. Yeah, co-worker. He can't be friends with anyone, he knew that wouldn't work.
Licorice looked up to see he was already just a few feet from the cake tower. Alright, nows the time. Don't embarrass yourself here.

And there he was. Face to face with his new co-worker.
"Hey, my names Red Velvet Cookie. You must be Licorice cookie. It's nice to meet you."
