And there he was. Face to face with his new co-worker.
"Hey, my names Red Velvet Cookie. You must be Licorice cookie. It's nice to meet you."

'Nice meeting me? Psh- Yeah right' Licorice thought to himself. Every one of his past co-workers said that. But that's before they got to know him. Licorice practically already KNOWS what people think of him just from how they look at him-
"HELLO?? Earth to Licorice Cookie!!" Licorice completely zoned out. Shoot, great first impression there.
"Oh right, sorry. Nice to meet you.. Red Velvet was it?" Licorice said, clearly a bit embarrassed.. He really hopes Red Velvet won't be like his past co-workers, or other way around.
"Yeah that's me, so you're gonna be working for me correct?" said Red Velvet, maybe he won't be all that bad after all.
"Mhm, yup, do you need help with anything right now? Otherwise I could just go practice some spells elsewhere while you're working." Licorice said, unintentionally sounding a bit eager. He had a specific spell he wanted to try. He saw it in a book from the library. He just had to try it out.
RV said he wasn't going to need any help for a while, so he told Licorice to do whatever he wanted until he called him. So Licorice was told to go to RV's room in the cake tower to do this stuff. And so he did just that.
Licorice took the book out, and looked for the spell. Ah! There it was. He realized it was more of a curse than a spell, so he decided to try it out. But on who?
...
Red velvet maybe? Sure. It wouldn't hurt anybody. Hopefully.
As Licorice closed his eyes to perform the "spell", he suddenly felt a little fluttering feeling in his stomach. Was that normal? Yeah. It's nothing, he thought.
When he opened his eyes, everything seemed normal to him. Nothing had moved or anything, his face and body felt normal. So it was all good.
Licorice was a little sweaty from- what? Why was he sweaty? It was fine,, he'd just open his robe a bit... Not too much tho. He decided to go check up on Red Velvet, to make sure he was all right.
He went down the stairs, through the hallways and- where was Red Velvet? Did they leave?
No,, he's not allowed to leave until 2 o' clock in the afternoon.
Licorice felt a little nervous, was Red Velvet alright?
Suddenly, there was someone- something breathing at his neck. He turned around sharply to see Red Velvet.
"GAAH! Dude. What the hell." Licorice said, pissed.
"HAAHA.... that was funny." Red Velvet said.
No. That was not funny at all to Licorice.
"You nearly scared the living soul out of me, what do you need?" Licorice said, with a slight grumpy face.
"I just wanted to check where you were, and if everything's alright. Cause I feel a little bit funny." RV said. Oh god, it's probably the spell Licorice performed!
'Wait. He's not meant to feel funny? Did I perform the wrong spell?' Licorice thought. Spoiler Alert, he did.
He performed a completely different spell then what he intended to. This one spell made the person you were putting the spell on hook onto you, and it dosent really break. It said it might have side effects like sweat or overheating. Which explains Red Velvets hot breath and Licorice sweating so he has to open his robe slightly.
"I might've accidentally put a spell on you, one that i didn't intend to." Licorice said, very out of the blue. Welp, that's the end for you Licorice. Nice move.
"Oh. That's actually pretty cool. That's all?" Red Velvet said. Wait, what? He didn't mind? That's the first time.
'What a relief. He dosent hate me.' Licorice thought, he usually thought like this. Always doubting himself and others.

He realized something.

He fell in love.
