a kind of spark // licorice cookie x red velvet cookie

5 ~ dear diary.

It was silent now, until Licorice slightly broke the silence.

"I love you.." Licorice whispered.

Licorice couldn't stop thinking about how he said that he loved Red Velvet, oh god so much happened!! He needed to go write into his diary about it, it was something he needed written down. Whenever things circulated Licorice's mind too much, he would write it down to dump his mind onto paper. And when he was bored, he would read through his diary and laugh at himself.
He took out his diary, which was hidden and put it on his desk. Then he also took out a pencil and eraser.
And so, he started writing.
As always he started with,,
«  Dear Diary,
Yesterday was probably something that i'll never forget. When I was looking for Red Velvet in the cake tower to talk to him about something serious - I couldn't find him anywhere. And so I went up to his room. He politely told me to come in when I knocked.(what a gentleman.) And so, I went in, and I told him about me being transgender and all that. He took me into a hug and told me some of the most kindest words. God, it was magical. But I tried to play it off, didn't wanna seem stupid or anything pathetic. And then, I told him I loved him almost out of nowhere. (What was I thinking!?)
Here's the drill, he told me he loved me back and then-"
*creeeeek..*
It was Licorice's door creeking.
He sharply closed his diary and literally threw it away. And then he looked at who was at his door.
There stood Red Velvet.
"Hi." Red Velvet said, simply like that.
"Uh. Hi." Licorice said, only worrying about wether or not Red Velvet saw him writing in his diary.
"I'm bored, what are you doing?" Red Velvet said, entering Licorice's room and closing the door behind him.
"Nothing specific, just- writing down my next plan." Licorice said, picking up his diary that he just threw.
"Nice nice, could I help?" Red Velvet said.
Oh heck to the no. Now what..
"Err,, no it's fine. Just chill or look around if you want." Licorice said. Nice save.
"Alright cool." Red Velvet sighed.
Anyways, now Licorice could continue writing.
"and then, he leaned in and kissed me. It was so charming!!<3 I didn't even realize I was leaning into it lmao... the lucky person to become his partner in jealous of. Maybe I should ask him out? Nah, Im too awkward to do that."
Done, that felt nice. It felt like a massive headache just going away, magically.
Licorice turned around in his chair to see Red Velvet right behind him. Looking at his diary. And then at him.
"You keep a diary? That's cute." Red Velvet said, smirking and slightly blushing.
"Oh." Was all that Licorice could let out. He was speechless. Shoot, now Red Velvet knew that he keeps a diary. Like some middle schooler. Gross.
"You like me like that? Really?" Red Velvet said, laughing as he crossed his arms.
"No. Not at all, what??" Licorice said, almost teasingly. He was trying to play it off as a joke, but Red Velvet was being fully serious.

Red Velvet picked up Licorice swiftly and Licorice gripped on to Red Velvets shoulders for support, since it was very sudden.
"Hey, you scared me. Why'd you pick me up so suddenly?" Licorice said, looking around avoiding eye contact with Red Velvet.
"I do want to tell you something important." Red Velvet said. Looking straight into Licorice's eyes. They had known each other for quite some time, even if it didn't seem like it.
"What? Tell me and then put me down." Licorice said, still avoiding eye contact.

..

"I wanted to ask you-." Red Velvet stuttered. He wanted to tell Licorice that he had feelings for him, but he couldn't get himself to do it. He dropped Licorice down and sprinted out of the room.
'What's his problem?' Licorice thought to himself. Oh right.

The Diary.

Oh my lord this chapter was so lazy. I don't really know how to continue the plot but i'll definitely think of something!
