"I have the day off so I thought I'd walk around Yokohama." He seemed excited to see me, getting closer and acting like a little kid.
"I didn't expect to see you here. I guess I'm kind of doing the same, Osamu wanted to get out, so we came here." I gestured to the man in question, who was now standing behind me and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me to him.
"Oh, okay then. It's good to see you too, Dazai." Atsushi's smile ever so slightly wavered, faltering into a bit of a flat and faked smile.
"Same for you. I'm glad the agency gave you some time off." Osamu used his regular cheerful voice, any signs of his previous actions now gone.
"So how's the agency been to you? It's been a while since we talked." I was curious.
"They're treating me well, all things considered. There's been a few jobs I've helped out with. Just the other day I went with Ranpo to help solve a murder case, I was just escorting him on the train though. We found Dazai floating in the river, again. There's mostly been paperwork to fill out though." Atsushi was an interesting person he'd talk all cheery one moment then make a sad comment under his breath that I was just barely able to hear. I found it funny, and so I laughed lightheartedly at his behavior. Atsushi looked a bit confused.
"I'm sorry, I just find it cute how you explain. I don't mean any offense- ow." At the end of my explanation, I felt Osamu dig his nails into my waist briefly. It didn't hurt much but it was enough to startle me.
"Are you okay, [Y/N]?" Atsushi asked, reasonably concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just felt a sharp pain." I smiled at Atsushi and gave Osamu a glaring side eye, not-so-gently kicking at his ankle behind me.
"What is his deal today?!"
"Well maybe we could go hangout later today, all three of us?" Atsushi suggested, keeping his distance from me.
Just as I was about to answer, Osamu stopped me.
"I'm sorry, Atsushi, but my little [Y/N] here has had a busy day. Maybe next time, but we'll be going now." Osamu let go of my waist now grabbing my hand and pulling me along with him.
"Well, bye, Atsushi. Talk later." I barely got my farewell out before being dragged away.
Once we were far away enough, out in the open, and by ourselves, I spoke up. I yanked my hand out of Osamu's death grip and jumped back, soothing my aching hand.
"What the hell is your deal today?!! You keep scaring me and then acting like everything's normal!!" I yelled at him. He was only startled by me jumping back, but didn't waver from my yelling.
"How about we go to your apartment, [Y/N]." Osamu was calm, looking away from me.
"No I want to know what's gotten into you!!" I walked closer, pissed off. I did my best at making sure he could hear me, though I was sure the entire neighborhood could as well.
"Let's go, [Y/N]......" I felt that cold feeling again, the one that sent silent shivers down my spine.
"If you don't want to tell me then that's fine!! I'll wait for you when you're ready, but you will not be coming home with me!! So you can ju-"
Osamu grabbed my wrist and pulled me tightly against him, making me face him. His other hand gripped harshly at my chin. I was rendered immobile, trapped with him. His eyes glowed a red in the sunlight, deathly glaring at me now.
"[Y/N], I won't tolerate that yelling in public like this." Osamu's grip on me was tight, it hurt immensely. His voice was husky and deep, not in a sexy way.
