New friends

Fluttershy's P.O.V~

One more day...theres one more day until school starts up sagain...

During the summer my mom had gotten a job offer in Washington. So I had to move with her...and now in two days I have to go to a brand new school

I guess it didn't really matter...it's not like I was going to miss anyone. And no one would miss me. The thing is I'm one of the shyest people in the universe and so I didn't have many friends.

So now I'm going to a brand new school. With no idea what to expect...my mom keeps trying to reassure me that everything will be okay. That I'll make tons of friends and even get great grades. But...I'm pretty sure she's just saying that to be nice

I'll just try not to draw to much attention to myself. Hopefully no one will notice me

Rainbowdash's P.O.V

I was sitting on my couch when I got a text from Soarin.

-rainbows conversation with Soarin-

Soar: heyyy dash. What's up?
Rainbow: nothin' much. I'm actually waiting for Pinkie and Twi
Soar: oh cool. Cool. So I was wondering if you would want to go to a movie later?
Rainbow: Uh...Geez...listen soar, you're a really great guy and all I just...don't like you in that way...
Soar: Pfft. Whatever I'll just ask fleet or spit to come.
Rainbow: I'm really sorry...
Soar: yeah. Right.

The nerve of that guy. I mean we broke up a long time ago. It was like what? A week? Whatever. I put my phone down on the coffee table and waited for pinkie

A few minutes later she was knocking on my door. As I opened it I started to say hi but was cut off by a tackle from pinkie.

"HEEEEYYYY!!! Sorry we're late we got stuck in traffic and then I was looking out he window and saw a sign for a cake store and twilight said she'd take me later but I reaaalllyyy wanted some cake and-" pinkie kept on talking about how she and twilight had gone into the cake store and gotten cake but I wasn't really paying attention.

"Hey Rainbow" Twi said as she helped pinkie and I up

"Hey guys" I said as I dusted myself off "what brings you guys here?"

"Well you see we were in the neighborhood and wanted to make sure you were ready for tomorrow! "

What's happening tomorrow? Oh wait...that's right schools starting tomorrow and pinkie had a whole welcome back party arranged and so she wanted us to get there early to set up.

"Yeah. I'm all prepared got my alarm set and everything" I replied

"Whoop whoop! Alrighty then we'll see Ya tomorrow!!! " pinkie ran outside half way through her sentence and twilight trudged on after her.

I almost completely forgot that summer vacation was over tomorrow. It seems like just yesterday it started. And I hadn't even done that much well not as much as I normally did.

I went to go check the fridge for anything good to eat when I saw that it was 22:30 and I had to get up early tomorrow. So I walked off to bed with a heavy sigh.

~lè next morning~

I woke up late. Shit pinkies going to kill me. I dashed out of bed and quickly got dressed. There was no one for breakfast so I sprinted as fast as I could, which is pretty freaking fast if I might say so myself, to the school. Luckily I wasn't too late so pinks wasn't that mad.

"Hey guys....Sorry I'm late." I said through deep breaths

"It's not a problem dear, will you help us finish setting up?" Rarity was tying bows on almost everything and making sure all the decorations were in orderly fashion

"Sure thing" I started to pack away all the empty boxes and helped setting up refreshments

Pinkie was jumping around and Twi was trying to calm her down which was not working. Rares and Aj were talking and making lovey dovey faces at each other.

~twenty minutes later~

Fluttershy's P.O.V

I woke up and tried to sleep again. I was not looking forward to today. It wasn't that I hated high school. It was more that I hated being at high school. Which isn't the same thing.

After my mom dropped me off at school I didn't have a clue where to go. I mean I know how to get around a high school and I know what different places there are but...this high school was much bigger. I kept bumping into people and they'd laugh or glare at me. I tried asking for help but I was to soft to be heard. Or at least that's what I kept telling myself. Eventually I ended up walking into a gym and bumping into some girl with rainbow hair.

"I-I'm s-sorry...I didn't m-mean to..." I started to say but was cut off

"Oh hi there. I haven't seen you around here before are Ya new here?" Her voice was so amazing. Wait what was I thinking? I don't even know her. I nodded slightly

"Well that's cool. So what's your name?" She smiled. And when she smiled it was so- wait stop thinking about things like this. She probably has a boyfriend

"I-I'm...fluttershy." I said so softly I barely heard it myself

"Well Fluttershy I hope you enjoy it here." She said and smiled at me. That amazing smile. "Hey? Would you like to meet my friends?"

I nodded and she lead me to a group of girls who were laughing and smiling.

"Hey dash. Who's that?" The girl with purple hair looked at me.

"Well guys I'd like you to meet Fkuttershy, she's new here. Fluttershy these are my friends. Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Twilight." She said gesturing to each girl as she said their names.

"Well howdy there sugarcube. It's nice to meet Ya" that was applejack.

"So Fluttershy, where are you from?" Im pretty sure that was Twilight.

"U-Uh...I'm from..Manhattan-"

"MANHATTAN?!??" Rarity looked like she was completely surprised. "What's it like there? Why did you move? Darling you must tell me every- " she was interrupted by applejack

"RARITY. don't freak the poor girl out. She just got here and she doesn't need to be asked 793 questions."

"Sorry darling I've just dreamed of going to Manhattan. And got a little carried away" she said smiling apologetically

"I-it's alright...don't worry..."

"So Fluttershy, are you going to be in the same grade as us?!? Cause that would be so cool. And super duper trooper fun!!! We could have soooooo much funnnnn!!!!! " pinkie said as she jumped up and down

"PINKIE! Calm down!" Twilight was trying to get hold of her and calm her down.

I smiled. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad after all.
