Not so happy days

Fluttershys P.O.V

I hate going to school. I mean..it's not terrible but it's terrifying. Rainbow dash used to hang around all the time and so everyone would leave me alone but now she has been hanging out with the schools running team and so I have to walk around alone...

We still sort of have lunch with the girls but...she's not around all the time. It kind of hurts...and I shouldn't be taking it personally...but...she just doesn't seem to want to hang out with me...

We were sitting at lunch-we as in twilight, pinkie, applejack, rarity and i- and rainbow dash just walked straight past us without even a hi...

"The nerve of that girl!!" Rarity said

"C'mon rarity she just...Uh maybe she had a meeting to get to..or somethin'" Applejack said unsure of herself

"She could have at least said hello"

"I agree with rarity. Rainbow should be more considerate of our feelings." Twilight seemed mad. But I wasn't sure.

"Girls maybe dash just had something to get to like Applejack said. But maybe it wasn't a meeting. Maybe it was cake. If it was cake I'd understand!" Said pinkie while practically jumping up and down in her seat

"What do you think Fluttershy?" I hadn't even notice the question was directed at me until everyone at the table was staring.

"U-Uh well...I-I guess it would've b-been nice if she said hi...."

"Hah. So Fluttershy agrees with me and Twilight so therefore we need to go confront Rainbow Dash on the matter" Rarity started to stand up

"I-it's not t-that important..."

"Nah Rarity is right. We should go speak to Dash at least." Applejack got up and the other girls started following her to Rainbow Dash

I didn't want to be left alone so I followed...

Rainbows P.O.V

So one minute I'm enjoying a nice lunch with the team and the next I see Applejack and the others walking towards us. And they did not look happy

"hey guys h-

"Don't you 'hey guys' us. You didn't even bother earlier! " rarity looked like she was going to throw something at me. And Twi, well, Twi was looking at me with a death stare that made me want to curl into a ball and cry.

"Just because you join the running team doesn't mean you can just leave us behind." Twilight said

"Guys. I-I'm sorry. Listen I was in a rush and Spitfire was telling me this really cool story and-"

"No. Dash were done with you're stories. Now ya either come sit with us or don't. And if ya don't Im pretty sure we don't consider ya a friend anymore."

"What!! But guys this is just one time!"

"One time? What about last week? And yesterday? And two weeks ago you promised you'd come over to help pinkie with baking?" Rarity said pushing past Aj.

Was fluttershy here? I couldn't see her. Maybe she left...

"Guys I'm sorry okay? I just-"

"We want your answer."

"...I'm sorry guys it just we finally got into championships and This is the only time I get to talk to Soarin..."

Long story short: Soarin and I started dating a few days after I joined the team. And we don't get to talk much during practice

"So you're little boyfriend is more important then us?" Twi really was mad. Shoot.

"Well..no but-"

Fluttershys P.O.V

I ran out of the cafeteria. I felt sick. I wanted to cry.

Rainbow dash has a boyfriend.

Why did I care? Why did it matter to me? I mean it's not like I liked her or....or did I?

Well it doesn't even matter.

I ran straight into the bathroom and sat in one of the stalls. And I cried

Not a loud cry but...a silent cry...

I thought this year would be okay...I thought I might actually enjoy this new school.

Raritys P.O.V

I saw Fluttershy run out of the cafeteria. Which was odd. So instead of continuing yelling at Rainbow Dash I stormed off and went to find Fluttershy.

After thinking for a long time I decided to look in the bathroom.

"Fluttershy, darling? Are you in here?"

"N-no..."

That was Fluttershy. It sounded like she was crying. But why would she be crying? Wait...did she? Oh my goodness.

"Fluttershy could you please come out here? Please?"

She stepped out of the stall and her eyes were puffy. She had definitely been crying.

"Darling! What's the matter?" I said as I walked to give her a hug

"I...I just...and rainbow...."
She started crying softly as I hugged her.

"You like rainbow dash. Don't you?"

She nodded.

"I thought so...well you see Fluttershy, Rainbow doesn't exactly notice how others feel. And I'm going to kill her for making you cry. So how about we go back to lunch?"

She nodded again and wiped her eyes. "O-okay... "

We walked back to the cafeteria and sat at our table.

I swear. Rainbow Dash is such an idiot sometimes.

"Hey!! Where'd you guys go??" Pinkie asked

I shook my head as to mean don't ask.

"Oh. Alrighty then." After lunch Rainbow dash tried to apologize like 17 times in each class. Since we have almost all of our classes together that's a lot!

But I wasn't going to say anything. Not until she apologized to the others first. And started paying more attention to their feelings.
