After Hermione had explained, Trace's jaw had dropped. "You're planning on creating an illegal club?! Are you insane Hermione?" He asked her. Where had the rule abiding, perfect student he had once known as his sister gone? Luna, however, seemed on board. Trace sighed. "Fine. I guess I'll do it." He muttered, and Hermione beamed. "But where are we going to host the meetings? And how are we supposed to get more members?" Harry asked, and Trace had an idea. "There's a way for a room for these meetings. The Come and Go Room." The lanky red headed boy, Ron Weasley, looked perplexed, but Luna smiled widely. "The Room of Requirement. Don't tell me you three haven't heard of it." Trace looked at the trio of Gryffindors, who looked at each other. Trace face palmed, and led them out of the common room. He reached a bare wall, and Ron said sarcastically, "Wow. What a room. We'll definitely fit people in there." Trace shot a sharp look at the youngest male Weasley, and thought hard about something. The wall started to morph, and turn into a giant door. Trace smirked victoriously as Ron looked shocked. Luna smiled and squeezed his hand for a moment. Hermione opened the door and looked around the room. It was filled to the brim with Defense Against the Dark Arts books, supplies, dummies to practice on, everything. The five of them looked around the room. "It's perfect!" Harry exclaimed, looking at a few dummies. Trace smiled smugly at Ron's shocked looked at the perfection of the room. Luna leaned her head on his shoulder, and he squeezed her hand. The five of them walked back out of the room, and headed back to the Gryffindor dorms. They entered, and Trace and Luna sat down next to each other on Hermione's bed, while the three actual Gryffindors sat in chairs. "So you like the room?" Trace asked, smiling. Hermione nodded excitedly, and Ron nodded as well, but reluctantly. "I assume you two will be joining?" Hermione asked, and the two Ravenclaws nodded. She smiled broadly, and wrote something down on a piece of parchment. "Well, we better get going." Trace said, standing up. Luna got up with him, and Ron mumbled something that earned him a smack in the back of his head from Hermione. Trace snorted back laughter, and Ron glared at him. Luna quickly walked out of the room, still gripping Trace's hand. The two walked back to the Ravenclaw common room, and sat down on the couch. The room was empty. Everyone was outside, being productive. Luna laid down across Trace's lap, and the blue haired boy gently played with Luna's hair. She smiled and closed her eyes. Trace didn't mind, and summoned a book over to him. He started to read, but the book was pulled away from him by Luna, who had sat up. She had puffed out her cheeks trying to look irritated, but instead looked adorable. Trace giggled, and wrapped his arms around her. Luna snuggled up to Trace, and closed her eyes again. "Goodnight Trace.." She said quietly. "It's mid afternoon." He responded, and Luna giggled. "Oh. Well, I'm going to sleep." She said, yawning the cutest yawn. Trace nodded, and gently played with her hair as she went to sleep snuggled up with him.

A few hours later, Luna was awake and the two were going back down to the lake. They wanted to hang out down there, since it was a nice day - well, as nice as a 40 degree December day could get. They were both wearing rather decent sized coats and fluffy blue hats. They decided it would probably be better to roam around the grounds rather than by the lake. Right after they stepped outside, they looked at each other, and silently went back into the castle. It was freezing. Trace sat down as far away from the open window as he could, and Luna suggested they go up to his dorm. He agreed, and the two walked up. They sat on his bed for a while, talking about school and their families. It got dark after an hour or two, and Trace laid down. Luna laid down next to him. Trace put an arm around her, and she snuggled up to him again. Trace closed his eyes, and was asleep within a minute. Luna closed her eyes as well, and fallen asleep next to him. They were both smiling in their sleep, happy to be together.

The next day after they both woke up, Trace had gotten an owl from Hermione addressing both him and Luna. The first meeting in the Room of Requirement was today. They were both excited, by nervous at the same time. If they were caught, they would most likely be expelled. But Hermione had said they wouldn't be caught, and looked at the parchment proudly. They got their wands ready, put on appropriate clothing, and set off. It was about 11:00 in the morning on a Sunday. When they got to the Room of Requirement, there was nothing. But as Trace thought about it, the door appeared. He pushed it open and led Luna inside. There was a small group of people inside already. Harry, Hermione, Ron, and several students from all houses except for Slytherin. Luna and Trace took seats on little pillows laid out on the ground. Hermione opened her mouth to speak again. "As we have already established, the group is to be known as the D.A. That way, people won't know what we are talking about if we discuss it." She explained, and Luna nodded dreamily. Trace noticed that everyone there was listening intently. He was expecting it to be loud, tough to control. It was the total opposite. Even the Weasley twins were quiet. Then, he realized he had zoned out, and that the meeting had been dismissed. Luna nudged him again, and he snapped out of it. "Sorry. I zoned out a little." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's ok love." She said, kissing Trace on the cheek. Together, the two walked back to their common room, and spent the rest of their day hanging out together.
