TXT One Shots

Our Dearest Taehyun! (Taehyun x TXT)

A blaring alarm woke up Taehyun in the morning. He immediately felt something was off with himself when he came to his senses. He turned his body to reach his arm out and turn off the alarm. He groaned, being awoken from the alarm is not something he wanted, but he had to get up either way.

He sat up in his bed and sighed. His throat felt sore. Not a good sign. Regardless of his unusual condition, he continued on with his day like it was normal. He was more quiet than usual throughout the day and it did not go unnoticed by the members. It wasn't until the vocal practice that his condition became an issue.

He was trying desperately to hit the high note, but his throat kept hurting and made him sound awful. His voice would rise then break mid-note. The recording engineers looked at each other with confused expressions as Taehyun retried the high note over and over again. He did not want this to happen! He was supposed to always be healthy and have perfect vocals!

"Taehyun... if you're sick you can go home." They told him through the mic. They were extremely concerned for him. Taehyun groaned. He didn't want to go home just because he couldn't hit a few high notes. "There will be a driver waiting for you outside the building." One of the recording engineers said to him as they were typing away on their phone. They weren't kicking him out, they did not want one of their singers to suffer when they would rest. Taehyun became so upset he left the room without a word.

He went down to the first floor of the building with an unhappy look on his face. He didn't want to let his members down, but he also didn't want to argue with the staff. That would be unprofessional, and Taehyun has standards to meet. He soon found the car waiting for him and was taken to the dorm.

As soon as he opened the door to the dorm, he let out a sigh. He closed the door behind him and slowly walked into his room. He dropped his belongings on the floor and fell onto the bed. He laid there in disbelief for a few moments before pulling the covers over him. I can't believe this is happening...

Taehyun could faintly hear the sound of someone calling to him as he came back into reality. He had realized he fell asleep and he felt a presence next to him on the bed.

"Taehyun.." The familiar voice softly called to him. Taehyun stirred lightly under the covers. He didn't want to wake up. He felt awful, yet comfortable in the bed. He then felt a hand on his forehead that caused him to turn over. He opened his eyes and saw Soobin sitting beside him on the bed. He had a concerned look on his face as he checked Taehyun's temperature. "Oh my.. I'll be back." He said to Taehyun. He then stood up and hurried out of his bedroom door.

Taehyun blinked slowly as he looked around the room. He saw Kai laying next to him then closed his eyes again to rest more. Kai's hand slowly rub his arm. He then felt a cold cloth be put against his forehead and opened his eyes again. Soobin was placing the cloth over his forehead while the other members were scattered around the room. Taehyun grew confused as to why everyone suddenly came into the room. Don't they have to practice?

"Hmm? What are you guys doing here?" Taehyun asked in a raspy voice. Yeonjun placed a finger over his mouth.

"Shhh, you're sick Taehyun. We just wanted to make sure you were okay." He said with a small smile. The other members nodded along with Yeonjun's statement.  Kai gently caressed Taehyun's arm to ease him of his worries as he lightly cuddled against him. Taehyun felt guilty. He didn't want the members to leave practice just because he had a cold.

"You guys left... because of me?" Taehyun asked as tears started to form in his eyes. They then had a shocked expression on their face.

"No, no. Taehyun, it's okay we are fine. We just decided to take the day off anyways." Beomgyu reassured Taehyun as he moved closer to him. He got down on his knees next to the bed and gently caressed his cheek.

"Don't cry Taehyun..." Soobin said with a frown as he held onto Taehyun's hand.

"You're making me feel like I'm in the hospital or something-" Taehyun blurted out as he let out a small laugh in between tears. The boys chuckled at the comment.

"We want you to know we love you, okay?" Yeonjun stated with a smile as he climbed onto the bed with Kai and Taehyun. He made himself comfortable on top of Taehyun and hugged him slightly.

"Yes! We love you Taehyun! We'll take good care of you~" Soobin continued as he gently caressed Taehyun's hand. Taehyun blushed at their words, unsure of what to say. He felt warm from their comments. How did he end up with such caring members like them?

"Th-thanks guys... I really appreciate it." He stated with a small smile. "But shouldn't you guys keep your distance from me?" He questioned. Soobin raised an eyebrow at Taehyun.

"We don't care! We just want to be with you!" Beomgyu stated as he hugged Taehyun. He was taken aback by the sudden hug, but then slowly hugged Beomgyu back.

"We'll leave you to rest now~ rest well~" Soobin said as he stood up. Beomgyu and Yeonjun got up along with Soobin.

"Thank you guys.." Taehyun said with a blush on his face. Kai slowly got out of the bed to join the other members.

"Of course hyunggieee!~" Kai said as he approached the door. "See you later!" He told Taehyun just before he shut the door.

Taehyun turned to his side and smiled to himself. He sure loved the members so much. He wouldn't know what to do without them.

Sorry for the SUPER long update. I've been in college and all I wanna do is game and hang out with the bf. I also had a bit of a writers block for a bit T-T I promise I will try and update regularly!
