It was the next day and Namjoon had told himself he was gonna talk to Niki
He had already enrolled him into online school so he didn't miss anything
He walked up to his room and sighed
He then knocked on the door
"Please Wait!" Niki said
Namjoon sighed once more but waited
After a minute or two Niki opened the door
"Ye- sir! How can I help you?" Niki asked
Namjoon pointed into the room
"Sit we need to talk" Namjoon told him
Niki got nervous but listened
He sat on his bed and Namjoon sat on his desk chair
"What's the problem sir?" Niki asked
Namjoon pulled out a paper
"Your grades." Namjoon said
Niki tensed up because he knew about his grades
"Why are you failing English learning, language arts, chemistry, history and programming?" Namjoon asked
"The boys they stole my notes also stole my homework..." Niki said
Namjoon hummed
"How are they bullying you?" Namjoon asked
"What do you mean sir?" Niki asked
"What are they doing to you?" Namjoon asked
"They are always raiding my bag and pushing me around"
Namjoon nodded
He pulled out his phone and showed Niki a video
"Are they also doing this to you?" Namjoon asked and showed him a video of 8 boys jumping him
Niki gasped
"How did you get that?" Niki asked
"Don't worry about it, why didn't you tell me they were jumping you?" Namjoon asked
Niki looked down
"I thought you'd get mad and call me weak" Niki admitted
"Niki you are still a child I wouldn't get mad but answer me this niki, why'd you want me to adopt you so you can be in the mafia?" Namjoon asked
Niki sighed
"My parents never payed attention to me, after I was able to start doing things on my own it was like I was invisible" Niki said
"I would ask for things but they'd ignore me and if I pushed a little too hard they'd snap and start hitting me" Niki said
Namjoon understood
"I wanted a family and this past month and some weeks I finally know what it feels like to be apart of a family sir... I don't know if this is weird to say sir but you are the closest thing to a father figure I have and I would like to cherish that..." Niki admitted
Namjoon was kinda surprised
"I... I... wow" Namjoon chuckled then looked at Niki
"You are precious aren't you, you and Kai are technically both my adopted children but Kai doesn't treat me like this because he's older and I understand so these types of things are new to me" Namjoon told him
"Jake and Sunghoon are gonna help you in school and I'll handle the bullies but please don't be afraid to tell me things, I am a big scary mafia boss but I'm not such a scary person people play me to be" Namjoon told Niki
Niki smiled
"Yessir!"
