Sylvie's P.O.V.

It was finally time for me and Dark's wedding. I've waited for this day for as long as I could remember. I loved him, and he loved me.

Wearing the bride's dress, I walked to the mirror, twirling around once or twice. I giggled, figuring that my soon-to-be-husband would love it. A few minutes passed, I was starving for a snack. I walked in the hallway, on my way to the bag that had snacks in it.

I grabbed the bag, zipped it open, and seized a medium-sized chocolate chip cookie. I threw it in my mouth, savoring the taste of it. Once I was finished, I started to head back to where I was before. Strolling in the hallway, I heard something, kind of like smooching, but I ignored it. Then, I heard something familiar.

"Dark."

I laughed quietly in disbelief, knowing that he would never cheat on me. Would he? "No," I said, trying to convince myself it was a joke or my mind playing games on me, anything but him cheating, especially on our wedding day.

The sound was coming from a room, which the door was slightly opened, enough for me to peek in and take a look. Impatient, I went closer to the small opening, and laid eyes on Dark. With another girl

I gasped, shocked. Tears were starting to form in my eyes, blurring my sight. "No, no, no, no," I said, tripping on my dress and crashed on the ground with a 'thump'. I sobbed, causing Dark to swing open the door and look at me.

"What are you doing?" He said in a monotone voice, as if he had no care for me at all. Despair turned to anger. I stood up, an upset expression on my face. "What am I doing here? More like you, cheating on me, on our wedding day, right now!" I shouted, clearly distressed and furious. Dark however, didn't change expressions at all, making me irritated. "No hard feelings but I never loved you, Sylvie." He calmly said, unaffected by the outburst. "W-what?" I said.

Never...loved?

...

Never loved.

I ran away, leaving the two Pokémon and into the forest. A few hours or minutes passed, I wasn't really sure. I was too drowned in my thoughts. But what I know for sure is that I'm hungry. Really hungry. My stomach growled. I scanned the environment, the sun was beginning to set and I can't see in the dark. Dark. The thought of him makes me disgusted.

I shook the feeling away. Focusing on the food, I wandered through the forest, looking around for anything. This time, I glanced up. And there it was, an egg on a high tree. I licked my lips, and climbed the tree. Landing on the branch my meal was on, I grabbed it with my ribbons and opened my mouth, welcoming the food into my stomach. Just before I could put it in, a Pidgeot stared back at me. "What do you think you're doing?" It said, an angry frown on its face.

I chuckled awkwardly. "Nothing."

The Pidgeot pushed me off the tree, making me lose my balance, and with that, everything went black.
