The sun is making it's way through my blinds.. I hate sunlighttttttt.... Oh wait.. shit, today's a school day..

Carefully getting out of bed, I slowly make my way into the bathroom.

Walking back in to change into my uniform, I stop in the center of my room..

Why's everything so.. girly and pink?

[I'm not a girl, I'm a boy for fuck's sake../I get I'm a girl but.. this is.. a bit much, no?]

Hmm.. Whatever.

Soon enough I start making my way into the kitchen. The regular blank [wall color] walls flashed to faded pink, rundown, moldy, and old.

Though it was only for a second, I still saw it.

I stood for a bit, staring at the walls.

The one I address as 'mom' turned to me.

I was probably looking rather confused.

She asked me, "Are you okay?"

Snapping back to reality, I turned to her and said "Yeah, I just.. umm.. zoned out for a second.."

[M/N] told me to serve myself cereal and get out, go to school or I'd be late.

I did as she told me too.

I continued to walk along the cold sidewalk.

Winter just started.

There snow on the sidewalk, the air around me is cold and damp, snow dusts the tree's lightly, looking like they were covered in glitter as the sun shined down on them.

Walking through the fresh snow and listening to the soft crunch under my boots, I looked up at the light gray sky.

I watched as my warm breaths left small clouds in front of my face, then disappear in an instant.

There were small birds flying around, and the occasional flock of birds heading south.

A few trees still had their leaves, though, they were very few and mixes of fiery oranges and reds, soft golden and muddy brown.

I blinked.

The same thing from earlier happened again.

The trees are now pitch black. No leaves.

The snow is still there. There are no more cars.

I can't hear the birds. I can't hear anything other than a loud, long beep.

Everything is rundown.

The houses are either destroyed or boarded up and covered from to to bottom with graffiti.

It's eerily dark now.. where did the Sun go..?

I quickly came to a stop as soon as this happened.

Wait.. what was that?

Something is over there.. but where?

Hello..?

Wait.. I.. I can't talk..?

My mouth feels like it's been sewn shut..

What..? What is that?

There is a large figure over there. It looks like a person.. but more like someone's shadow.

I only saw it for a second.

And then it disappeared.

I blink again.

Everything is normal again.

What..?

I'm scared now. I try and shake it off and keep walking, eventually running as to not be late.

I'm sitting in class.

The beeping starts again. The lights flicker, but nobody notices.

Something moved outside the window.

Then everything is normal again.

Something is wrong.
