Just A Dream

A Dream, or Maybe a Nightmare?

It's been a while now.

Sometimes I wonder how your doing. I hope you are doing well.

I feel better. So much better. I'm glad I chose to let go and accept what has happened.

I've also learned to move on. I'm learning to be more open, rather than bottling up my emotions like I used to. I'm expressing myself better now. I've gotten better physically and emotionally. I've learned to accept things and situations for how they are. I'm finding new hobbies now too. I'm getting better at drawing and writing, I've even started writing online books.

I still wish we could talk again, but I've slowly started to let go of that dream. I'm slowly giving up on that dream.

Maybe, if things had been different, had the timing and circumstances been right, we'd still be talking right now. But things are different. One cannot get everything they want.

Maybe.. we'll see each other in the next life.

And next time.. I'll make things right. For now however, I'll try and forget about the past. For now, I'll focus on the future instead.

I slowly open my eyes.

Where am I again..? Oh right.. I think this is a dream.. I hope so anyways.

I slowly take in my surroundings. 

It's the room I've always wanted.. all the things I like, my favorite colors, and the aesthetic fits nicely with everything.

I turn to the windows. They have long curtains draping over them.

I get out of the large bed and go over to them. I take a look outside..

Everything looks.. so alive.. so colorful and bright.

I look up, there's the sky but.. it looks like a mix of deep reds and purples, even a few hints of pink here and there.. I turn to the clock hanging above my door.

It's.. It's 10:32.. Morning or night though? Never mind, that doesn't matter right now, the question at hand is why it looks like the sun is setting at 10:32..

I look outside again.

Speaking of which, where is the sun? Oh there it is..! I guess the sun here is.. a large smiley face? Kinda creepy but what'd I expect? Are those what clouds look like? They're clumps of code! Well some of them anyways, but that's still really cool! I wonder.. are there birds here? Or any kind of animal for that matter? What do they look like here?

I stand there for a little longer, staring outside at everything. Rather than being overwhelmed by the sudden change, I found it to be quite beautiful in this odd dream world.

I should probably go downstairs. I'ma go see if I can find any snacks, then I'll go explore!

I'm about to leave when I notice something on one of the bedside tables.

Hmm? What's that?

I go over. It's a phone.

Ooooh! This looks pretty new, expensive too. The phone case is pretty nice. I think this is mine?
