Chapter 3: Tsuna's Past

"Mero...Mero wake up..." Mero was cringing a bit in his sleep like he was having a bad dream.

"Hey, Mero?" After cringing a bit more Mero opened his eyes instantly and sat upright in a panic.

"Nori-" Just as Mero was about to yell, Tsuna had put her hand over his mouth and pointed towards the bed. Mero looked over slowly to see Norina asleep safe and sound.

Tsuna then removed her hand. "Oh...shes okay...wait? Did you bring us here? And...where is here?"

"Where you are isn't really important right now...as for your first question. No, I didn't bring you here."

Mero then looked at her strangely. "Well if you didn't...who did?" Tsuna pointed towards the man. "He did."
Mero turned to see a tall, kind of muscular guy with a brown vest with no sleeves, cargo pants, and black heavy duty boots leaning against a wall, arms crossed.

Mero thought to himself. "What's with the soldier get-up?" Tsuna stared at Mero plainly with her no emotion look. "W-What? She can't read minds can she? I hope she didn't here what I said."

"If you haven't figured out yet, he's the one who brought you two here...not only that but he came at just the right time."

Mero looked confused. "Okay, and why's that?" Tsuna looked at Norina.
"You were too heavy." Mero thought to himself. "Right...I knew that..."

The man then looked over at them to see Mero awake and talking to Tsuna. "So, your finally awake..."

Mero heard the deep manly voice and turned to realize his presence. "Hey, name's Gordon, care to introduce yourself?" Mero hesitated a bit since he felt as if he was in the presence of a giant.

"Oh, uh...my name's Mero sir." Gordon glared at him a bit. "There's no need for formalities, just Gordon will be fine. I've already gotten acquainted with your friend Tsuna and as you can see your friend Norina is still asleep."

Mero looked over at Norina with a worried face. "That Noren guy...he's the one who did this but, after that I can't remember anything else...its all a blur."

Tsuna looked at Mero thinking. "Just as I thought...he wasn't himself at that moment when Norina got hit by Noren." Mero then looked at Tsuna.

"Hey Tsuna...during the fight, what happened? I don't really remember."
Gordon just looked at them. "Well...you were hit by Noren and your energy was exhausted so you passed out."

Gordon stared at her and even with no emotion in her eyes he still new she was lieing. "Oh, so I got my butt handed to me..."

Mero didn't look to phased by it. "Its not something to be too conserned about since you used a large amount of energy and didn't know how to use your powers in the first place."

Gordon then found the opertunity to speak. "So, you're a novice. That makes sense I guess." Tsuna looked at Gordon.

"Gordon...could you see something through for me?" Gordon looked a bit curious. "Depends on what that is."

Mero looked at Tsuna with a curious look as well. "I would like you to train Mero." Gordon stood unfased like a impenetrable wall while Mero was a little confused on where this was leading.
