Chapter 2: Talk about unexpected! (Part 1)

"It's been 4 hours since he passed out...do you think he'll wake up at all?" Norina had asked the doctor with a worried face. "I'm a doctor, but I won't lie to you, I'm not sure when he'll wake up." He spoke to Norina most sincerely. "Are you sure you don't know?" Norina asked, still sounding quite sad. "Look I've done all I can and his readings say he's perfectly fine...I really don't know what else to do but wait."

As the doctor left the room and closed the door behind him, Norina looked at Mero with worrying eyes.

"I wonder...will he ever wake up?" Norina thought to herself. At that Moment Mero was coming to. "Mero?" said Norina in surprise. Mero had finished blinking multiple times and had his eyes wide open looking at the ceiling.

"Are...are you ok Mero?" Mero turned to look at Norina. "Do...do I know you?" Norina's eyes widened. "Mero...it's me Norina...your best friend? Don't you remember?"

"I'm sorry, but the only thing I remember is my name...and..." Norina was still in shock but wanted to know what the other thing was that he remembers. "And...what's the other thing?"

Mero looked down at his hands. "And that I really love anime." Norina just sat there in total shock because nothing was making sense anymore.

She remembered that before they went to go search for Tsuna, Mero had to use the bathroom. After he came out of the bathroom he was perfectly fine and she was going to show him a new anime.

"What happend to him? Is this amnesia?" Norina thought. "But...he said he had stopped liking anime back at my house...what is going on?"

Norina couldn't help but worry about Mero. "Even if you can't remember me Mero...that doesn't change the fact that I remember you." Norina reverted her attention from her hands, as they were lieing in her lap, and looked at Mero with determination in her eyes.

"Mero, I'll do whatever it takes in order to help you get your memory back!" Mero looked a little surprised. "Why would you do all that for me?"

"Because...your my friend." Norina was looking ready for anything and Mero sat there wondering. "Well if you really are my best friend, I can't turn down this offer even if I wanted to.

Norina's eyes filled with happiness. Not only because he accepted her help, but because he was alive and well.

"Thank goodness he's ok..." Norina said to herself as tears welded up in her eyes.

About 10 minutes later, Mero was able to leave the hospital. "Um...Mero?" Norina stopped and looked at him. "What is it Norina?"

"Uh, do you feel any different? Like, do you remember anything at all?" Mero put one hand on his side and used the other to scratch his head.

"Hmm, now that I think about it...I haven't eaten anything." Norina looked annoyed. "That's not what I meant, but at least you still have your personality." Norina said with a nice smile.

At that moment Mero stopped. "Uh, is something wrong Mero?" Norina looked at him with a worried face. Just then Mero started to cry. "M-Mero whats wrong?!" Mero walked towards Norina crying, and to her surprise he wrapped his arms around her securely.

"Norina I...I remember now...It was your smile...and that's something I could never forget." After Mero said this, Norina couldn't hold back anymore and burst into tears as well and wrapped her arms around Mero.

"I'm...I'm so happy you remember me Mero! I felt so lonely inside knowing that my best friend couldn't remember me."

"But all I can remember IS you. I can't remember all the fun times we've had together, how we met, or anything...except you." Mero looked sad.

"Its ok Mero, as long as you remember me we can make new memories...together." she said with a cute smile.

"Yeah...your right." As they started walking, Norina thought about something.

"Hey Mero, Does the name Tsuna mean anything?" Mero looked a little confused but then his eyes widened a bit. "Hmm...nope doesn't ring a bell."

Norina thought. "It seems he doesn't remember her either..." Mero looked at her strangely. "Whats the matter, you thinkin about somethin?"

"No, its nothing...lets-" As Norina was finishing her sentence they saw a huge object heading towards them.

"Norina look out!" Mero instantly grabbed Norina and dived to the side. As they stood up from the ground a male about 6'2ft with silver hair and a black jacket with green jeans was standing in front of them.

Mero was standing in front of Norina with an angry look. "How the heck did he do that?" Mero thought to himself. "Who are you?"

"Tell you what...if you can survive for 5 minutes I'll tell you, but I doubt you will." He said with a sneaky grin.

"What do you mean by that?!" Mero yelled. "Isn't it obvious...?" Mero looked annoyed. "Look just what are you here for?!"

"Ah jeez...first you ask me my name now you ask what am I here for...man your annoying, but I guess I should cut to the chase." Mero was waiting for an answer.

"Well I'll tell you...I'm here to kill you."
