Chapter 19 - Chemistry

Third Person POV

It was the day after Frankie and Evie's awkward interaction. They hadn't spoken much after it, Frankie watched Evie from the table behind where she sat, the pair had chemistry and it seemed there was another familiar face in the room. Kristopher sat on the other end of the table that Frae was put at, he wasn't too bad at this subject honestly.

Evie was rummaging through her purse looking for something, next to her Doug was writing down equations as Chad sat across from the pair. Evie looked frantic, she was unable to find something, the teacher caught on as well, " looking for something ?" He asked peering over Chad and the chemistry equipment laid out on the tables, he seemed to be irritated. This caught E off guard, she looked up at the teacher and quickly closed her purse, the interaction caught Dougs attention from beside the blueberry princess. Evie gave a small smile just before the professor pulled out her mirror from behind his back, this left E speechless. How did he get her magic mirror? It was eventually obvious after Chad gave a smug smirk, " Thank you, Chad " the professor began, " it's gratifying to see someone still respects the honor code." Frankie saw the situation from the table behind and glared over at Chad, what right does he have to do this ?

Kristopher looked up from his work over at Frankie with a raised eyebrow, before turning his head to see Chads being a nark again. Sighing Kris scribbles down a small note passing it towards Frae, ' Ignore . Trust Me '. It confused her, why would he want her to ignore this? She knew he had just as much of a problem with Chad as she did. " it would be my recommendation that you are expelled " that caught both of the twos attention from the back table, both were speechless. Chads smug attitude was annoying Frankie more and more.

" Mr. Deley, I-..." Evie stuttered as she sat down, defeated. Doug stood up from his seat beside her, the two had grown closer and Doug valued Evie as a friend now, he wasn't about to let Chad be the cause of her being expelled. " But that isn't fair. Obviously she wasn't cheating since she have that..." he paused for a minute motioning his hand towards the mirror the professor, Mr. Deley, held, " whatever it is ," Evie quietly piped up " it's a magic " Doug was quick to shut down her words not wanting it to escalate the situation, " you're not helping, stop ." Chad on the other hand was looking between the two with an amused look, the teacher seemed to be losing his patience. Frae and Kris on the other hand were just watching and honestly that's all they could do at current times. "Maybe she needed another pencil." Doug protested, trying to give more reasons why she was looking through her purse, " actually I was-" E nodded piping up again, " really. Don't help " Doug said quickly once again interrupting her words. Evie looked down at her purse then back up at the teacher, "Please" Doug more so pleaded, Evie doing the same " Please " hers full of more sincerity. " well if you can pass this test, I'll return your property and let the matter drop " Mr. Deley answered as Evie gave a warm smile as Doug mouthed a 'thank you'.

Chad looked back at the teacher before at the two across the table, giving them a smug smirk. Evie gave him a glare not long before doug was nudging her shoulder telling her to get on with the test. Looking down Evie went on with the test.

After class Frae walked out with Kris and Doug toward outside to the tables that were under a covering of trees. The trio sat down with their lunch and spoke as they ate. Evie stayed behind for a few words with the teacher and said she'd catch up. Frae was next to Doug with Kris across from them, they were discussing the test and the answers they got. As the conversation went on Frankies view was blocked by a sheet of paper, reading the paper she saw it was Evie's examination booklet and looking at the mark she got a B+ meaning she passed, Frankie smiled reaching her hands up to cup E's that were holding the test sheet, " for the first time it's like, I'm more than just a pretty face. " Frankie heard her beloved say from just behind her, Doug chuckled from beside the pair "A shocker, huh?" He smiled patting E's back softly. Frankie turned her head around so she was face to face with Evie, the two girls gave eachother a warm smile. Doug pushed his tray over to the other side of the table and moved over so Evie could sit down next to Frankie. E sat down facing the opposite direction but leaned back so she could still face Frae, the two hadn't broken eye contact yet. " you were right in a sense, I shouldn't have done anything for him I should've focused on myself " E spoke softly as she turned her body to face Frankie, before she turned her head towards Doug, " and you were pretty great in there " giving him a smile of appreciation, " so were you " he commented back as the Princess turned back to face her wicked girlfriend and the test paper she held, " I bet I can get an 'A' on the next test without the mirror " she beamed putting a finger on the paper. " yeah, well maybe we can get together next time and hang out-" before Frankie could finish her little flirty comment E already had her answer " Yeah, let's get together " as if they needed an excuse to though.

Soon their moment was interrupted by their other hot headed girlfriend " there yous are! I've been looking for yous literally everywhere! " she exaggerated as she stood at the end of the table, not too far behind her was Leia. " what's wrong?" Evie asked with a slight tone of concern, " what ? Jealous you weren't in on the conversation ? You can always join you know that " Frankie flirted as she turned her head to the other direction to see Mal. " Ben just asked Mileia out on..." she paused for a brief moment as Fraes eyes travelled between the Purple pixie Infront of her to the brunette not too far behind then back to the heated up pixie, " a date. " Evie gave a smile as she looked confidently between the two girls as there was a "nice" and "go Leia" from across the table the two girlfriends were still seated at. " we can handle this " Evie reassured as she stood up and bid her goodbyes, with Frankie close behind the four girls made their ways to Evie and Mals room, obviously with Evie going over the list of things they can do to prepare Leia for her date.
