Chapter 7 - Say Hello to The Misses For Me

Frankie's POV

Once we got to the museum's back entrance we noticed a guy sitting in a chair looking at a bunch of screens 'must be the security guard' I thought as my gaze then turned over to a spinning wheel and read the podium infront of it, 'Maleficients Spinning Wheel ' Jay then asked " That's, your mother's spinning wheel?" As him and Carlos laughed, Carlos continued " Yeah, its kinda dorky" Mal just stared at the spinning wheel "Its magic, it does not have to look scary" She then opened her spell book and said "Magic Spindle, Do Not Linger, Make My Victim, Prick A Finger" when nothing happened Jay said "Impressive" Carlos jumped in with "I got chills" then they started laughing causing me to hit both of their arms, Mal then held her hand up and said "Okay, you know what?" She looked down at her spell book then said "Prick The Finger, Prick It Deep, Send My Enemy Off To Sleep" with that the security guard stood up, walked over to the spinning wheel, pricked his finger then fell asleep. Mal laughed a bit then with a smirk continued "Not so dorky now, Huh?" Then she tried opening the door, which to our disadvantage, was locked. Jay looked at the four of us then smirked saying "stand back" then backed up, readying himself to run at the door, Mal then looked back down at her and recited the spell " Make it easy, Make it quick, open up without a kick" the doors flew open as Jay went to kick it open. He fell, on his ass. We all started laughing at him and Mal gave him a little kick whilst walking past, Evie ruffled his beanie/hair and Carlos tried helping him up, after he was up I gave him a peck on the cheek and continued walking after the girls.

Mal put her finger up to her lips "ssshhh" she whispered as we passed the security guard, after we got past him we started running after Evie through the museum. "So close" Evie said as we reached a flight of stairs "upstairs" then we all ran upstairs following her as she said "come on guys! Almost there" with that we ran after her till she stopped in front of a room. When I looked into the room I saw my Father on a podium with his cards and staff, to be honest it looked... Threatening in a way. Evie then asked "Mommy?" When turning to look into the room, "Killer" was all Jay said towards his father, "Will never forget mothers day again" Carlos said with his voice laced in fear of some sort. "Well the wands not here, let's bounce" Jay said turning on his heel " lets go" then started leaving the room, Evie and Carlos followed after him. I went and stood next to Mal who was still looking at the statue of her mother.

We turned to look at each other, we both knew that we didn't need to say a word so we turned on out heels and took off after the others. We caught up with the others just as Evie was saying "there it is" we all smiled and laughed a bit relieved that we found it, Jay then yelled out a "WOOOO" and ran over to the gate and Carlos ran after him laughing. The girls and I ran after the boys to see Jay on the other side about to go under the bar "Jay Don't!" Mal said in a serious tone trying to get our idiotic boyfriend to not do something he may regret. He just smirked at us and went under anyways, he tried to grab the wand but ended up getting flung back because of the forcefield sorrounding it. As soon as he touched it a siren had come on " a forcefield AND a siren?" Carlos had yelled over the noise "that's a little excessive" Jay had commented whilst pulling himself off the ground. We all started running to the exit and when we got back to where the a security guard was meant to be the phone had started ringing and Carlos went and answered it " Hello? Uh Uh, one second, one second!" He then started scanning through all the papers that were scattered on the desk, he puts the phone back to his ear and replies " uh yeah yeah, false alarm. It was a malfunction in the, uh, LM 714 chip in the breadboard circuit" he then let out a little laugh and said " yeah. Ok, Say hi to the misses for me... Hm what? Say hello to my misses? Alright. Bye" with that he hung up "Carlos!" Mal had called him, he flung his arms and saying "your welcome" he caught up to say just as Mal was saying "way to go Jay, now we have to go to school tomorrow!" Then Carlos said "oh yeah by the way, Frankie, Evie and Mal the guy on the phone wanted me to say Hi for him" we all looked at him, Evie and I giggled and Mal just sighed and chuckled. Jay just chuckled.
