Chapter 5 - Dorms, Dorm mates and Mileia

I'm back with chapters

Frankie's POV

We started off the tour by walking past a statue of what looked to be the king, Ben had stopped then clapped his hands, the statue then turned into a beast which looked a lot like a dog... Oh wait, and I heard Carlos scream behind me, knew it might scare him as soon as I saw it resembled a dog, maybe here we can help him with his fear. I turned around to see Carlos in Jays arms, it was an adorable sight and Jay seemed flushed. "Carlos, its ok, my father wanted the statue to morph from beast to man, to remind us a that anything is possible!" At that Carlos seemed to become less tense, and Jay dropped him onto his feet. Mal then asked "does he shed much?" Ben replied with a deadpan face "Yeah, Mum won't let him on the couch" he looked so serious when saying it...Geez...

As we were walking into the main entrance Mal had continued with asking questions like "So you guys have a lot of magic here in Auradon? Like, wands and things like that?" Ben and Audrey then stopped and turned to face us Ben then responded saying "Yeah, it exists of course! But its pretty much retired. Most of us here are just ordinary mortals." Evie, Jay and Carlos were all looking curiously around at our new surroundings, it seemed to interest them loads. Mal continued this conversation with "Who, happened to be Kings and Queen?" Audrey then cut in by saying "That's true! Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years!" As she put Ben's arm around her. Ben looked so awkward there and at that I cringed, Jay had to stiffle a laugh as he saw my face, I slightly hit his arm and stomped on his foot and dug my heel into it, he started whispering the word uncle so many times I think it was all in the one breath! I got off his foot and he seemed to hop around a bit before using Carlos as support, Evie let out a little giggle and squeezed my hand a little, I turned to her and gave a genuine smile.

Then we heard Ben yelling out to someone "Doug! Doug, come down!" We all turned to see another guy our age with glasses coming towards us, Ben put an arm around the guy who I assumed was this Doug person and continued "This is Doug, he's gonna help you with your class schedules and show you the rest of your dorms, Also Frankie you won't be able to share a dorm with Evie and Mal as there was a rule set in place saying only 2 people per dorm, don't worry though, you will get along with your dorm mate, we promise!" He gave a sorry yet happy smile, I mean Ben isn't too bad I think its more Audrey that's the problem so far. "Its alright, I understand" Evie gave my hand a squeeze and Mal took a small sad little glance towards me, Jay then put his hand on my shoulder and Carlos did the same to the other.

He then finished off with, whilst also looking at Audrey and the 5 of us "I'll see you later okay? If there is anything you need feel free to ask-" Audrey then cut him off with "-Ask Doug!" Mal and Audrey then again started their fake laughing fiasco, it was weird but I know it won't be the last. Ben then awkwardly chuckled, and then was dragged away by Audrey, our attention was all turned to Doug, he started off with " Hi guys, I'm Dopeys son! As in Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleep and..." He trailed off a bit when he saw me and Evies hand intertwined, or when he saw Evie... Either way Evie was involved, then once he sorta snapped outta it he continued with "Heigh-Ho!" Then Evie put on a warm friendly smile and said "Evie" then she stepped up a bit more to shake his hand, without letting go of mine, and continued "Evil Queens Daughter" he then let out a nervous chuckle then shook her hand, he continued with "Ok so about your classes, I uh put on the requirements already-" Mal redirected her attention from Doug to Evie and I for a few seconds before glancing back, she moved closer to the 2 of us, Jay and Carlos were still behind us but Carlos was more looking around still and Jay was raising an eyebrow at him. Doug continued "History of Woodsmen and pirates, saftey rules for them internet, and uh, remedial goodness 101..." He finished and Mal started "Let me guess, New class?" He just nodded as Evie gave a side glance at Mal, "come on guys, let's go find our dorms!" With what we all started to walk up a flight of stairs only for Doug to say "Oh, Uh, yeah your dorms are that way guys" he pointed to the hallway on the opposite side of the room.

We all walked back down the stairs and then made our way diwn the hall, Doug had started reciting the names of the dwarves "Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy and..." Carlos then finished it for him with "Sneezy" then we were all off to find our dorms.

Once we had walked down half of a hallway we heard Doug yelling out to us, we turned to see him running to get to us "You guys don't *huff* know which dorms are *huff* yours!" He puffed out, I mean, I guess he's right "Oh right... Mind telling us where they are then?" Mal asked, "uh ok, Evie and Mal yours is (making them up) 190, Jay and Carlos yours is 101 and Frankie yours is 150..." Seems like we are all pretty far apart.... "Oh Ok, well bye now!" We all had to go our seperate ways a bit further up, until Mal started going over a plan " Frankie, in an hour we will meet up at Jay and Carlos' dorm, boys got it?" Jay and Carlos looked at the 3 of us whilst nodding, I noticed Carlos still had chocolate all over his face so, I pulled out a napkin that I took from the car and pulled Carlos over to me, I had to let go of Evies hand, and started wiping the chocolate of his face, he didn't seem to mind but he was wriggling a bit which made it difficult.

After a bit if struggling I got the chocolate off his face and then we continued our walk, we had to spilt up as 1-120 were the boys dorms which were to the left, 121-241 were the girls dorms which were to the right, "alright. Remember, we will be at your dorm in around an hour, got it?" Mal checked with Jay and Carlos before we spilt up, Carlos gave a nod and Jay said his usual "of course don't worry", we then parted ways with the boys, eventually we got to my dorm, 150, " alright here's my dorm, I'll see you two in an hour at the boys dorm!" I bid my farewell to Mal and Evie then they were off, not without Evie giving me a kiss and a hug and Mal receiving a kiss.

I opened my dorm door to be greeted with the sweet smell of... Candy? The room was mostly pink but it also had green, red, white and the occasional blue. I walked in further and I was greeted by the girl I saw earlier! The one who stoodup for Evie against Audrey, "Hey there! I'm ya dorm mate/room mate, The names Mileia, Daughter of Vanellope Von Schweetz!" Oh wow that's why it smells of Candy and the room is so multi coloured, "ah Hi, I'm Frankie, Daughter of Dr. Facilier. Nice to meet you I guess Mileia?" Mileia seemed to chuckle at this "oh please, Call me Leia, Most people call me Leia but whatever floats your boat I guess" she said with a shrug.

We chatted for like, 45 minutes and she's very... interesting, not in a bad way? More like, she loves candy, obviously, car racing, video games and baking. She loves animals, especially dogs, her appearance is so much like her mothers, Darkish hair with a honey brown eyes, her hair is done in a half up half down style, she has a mint green throw over jumper with 3 red lollipops on the middle, a red skirt with what looks to be a melting chocolate design on the bottom with two thigh high green stockings both with separate designs, one having white stripes the other having red swirls that looked like giant scale's,  and had black boots to complete the look. I check at the time to see I only have 15 minutes before I have to be at Jay and Carlos' dorm so I quickly excuse myself saying Im just going to check up on the others, she seems so chill. 'I hope this won't go as bad as I think it will' is the only thing I think as I make my way down to Jay and Carlos' dorm.
