Emma's POV

The next day there was a concert but I stayed in the hotel the whole day.
The day after, it was their resting day.

"So, what do you wanna do today?" Luke asked hopping on the spot next to me of my bed.

"I was actually thinking of visiting my mom's old house in Manchester since it's only about an hour away from Sheffield. My aunt lives there now and I still thankfully have the address. But the problem is that I don't have a ride." I sighed.

"Maybe I can get our driver to take you there." He smiled.

"No it's ok, I don't wanna feel needy. I'll probably just take the bus. But thanks anyways." I said.

"No, it's final. I'm getting you that ride and you have to accept. I know this means a lot to you so I'm doing this."

"Fine. But on one condition." I said.

"What is it?" he asked.

"That you come with me. It's special to me and i want to share that moment with you." I smiled and he pecked my cheek.

We both got ourselves ready and went down to the cafe for breakfast. Once we finished we hopped in the car and the polite driver drove is there.

"I'm actually nervous." I said.

"Why?" Luke asked.

"Because, my mom was and still is very special to me and the last time I saw her was when I was 14. She was the closest person to me. Now I'm going to see the house I grew up in with her until I was 11." I explained.

After an hour and a half of random conversations, we arrived. The driver agreed to stay outside the whole time to wait.

I knocked on the door and a few seconds later, my aunt which is my mother's sister, opened.

"Emma?!" She asked with a shocked but happy expression.

"Yes! Hii aunt Lia!" I said and she quickly embraced me in a tight hug.

"It's been so long! I'm glad you came to visit. And who's this handsome young man?" She asked.

"I'm Luke, her boyfriend." He smiled reaching his hand out to shake her hand but she ignored it and hugged him instead.

"Well come on in." She smiled and let us in the door.

We sat down in the living room sofa. The house looked exactly the same, it's like I left just yesterday.

"So what brings you here? I thought you were in California with your father. I see you already caught on to the American accent a bit." She laughed.

"Well I'm actually visiting the UK for a little while and since I was near the area, I decided to stop by. I also wanted to visit the old place I grew up in with my mom. And yes I have." I responded.

"I'm guessing you're here for news about your mum. " She said and I nodded. "You can look around the house if you'd like. After all this is your second home. I'll get you two something to eat."

I walked up stairs with Luke behind me and we entered my old room. It looked exactly the same. Light pink paint on the walls. Old family photos. The Beatles posters hung up. Stuffed animals. My old dresser and a full sized bed with a white ruffled comforter.

"You liked The Beatles?" Luke asked.

"Yep. I used to listen to them growing up. They were my favorite band."

"I can also tell you loved penguins back then too." He chuckled.

Then we went into my mom's room. It was also the same, almost untouched. It smelled like her old, sweet perfume she used to put on everyday.
