I'm pacing in my room, thinking about what to wear. All my clothes are sprawled out on the bed. Ugh! I'm honestly freaking out right now! Should I go casual or classy?
I choose a classy outfit, which is a red dress and then a casual outfit, jeans and a light blue shirt. I lay them on the bed and close my eyes.
"Eeni, meanie, minie, moe!" My finger lands on the casual outfit. I put my outfit on and then straighten my hair before applying a little eyeliner and some clear lip gloss. I slide my feet into my black flats and grab my purse off of my dresser.
The door bell rings. I put on a smile and open the door to greet Charlie.
He stands there in jeans and a blue shirt with some black boots, wearing a smirk.
Well looks like we dressed alike. "Hello Allie. Ready for our date my lady?" He states as he bows. I giggle.
"Well sir I am quite ready to see what you have planned." I state dramatically as I take his hand. He pulls me into his arms and kisses me passionately.

We arrive at an Chinese place. "Wait here." Charlie says as he steps out of the car and goes inside. I sit patiently and listen to the radio. He emerges from the building with a bag in hand. Takeout.
He steps in the car and the amazing smell of Chinese food hits me. My stomach growls and he laughs. "Trust me, you don't have to wait much longer." He says as he drives off.

We park on top of the cliff and climb out of the car. He goes to the trunk and pulls out a blanket and a cooler. He rolls out the blanket and urges me to sit. I take my seat as he pulls out the food and drinks.
I watch him as he sets everything on the blanket and notice that he is so patient. I have always liked that about him. Ever since I started freshman year and me and Charlie met, I have always liked him. I had a huge crush but so did he. We never really told each other our feelings but oh well, we're here now.
"I hope you like Chinese food still." Charlie says as he plops down next to me.
"You know I do." I reply and smile up at him. He hands me a plate and a fork. I eat my fried rice and orange chicken while he eats his chow mien and orange chicken. He had set a glass of champagne down beside me and I take a sip of the bubbly liquid.
After we're down with dinner, we lay back and stare at the stars. Charlie starts pointing out constellations as he holds my hand.
"Can I ask you something Charlie?" I ask when he is finished pointing out the constellations.
"Anything A." He says. 'A' was his nickname for me ever since we met freshman year.
"How come you never asked me out in high school?"
"I was scared that you didn't like me back. When you left, I realized what a huge mistake I had made. I lost the girl...." He trails off.
I snuggle closer to his body and look up at him. He looks down and I caress his cheek with my free hand. I lean down and his other hand comes up and slides to my neck. Our tongues invade each others mouths as we tell each other everything we didn't in high school. That we were falling for each other, and that would never change.

I lay in my bed that night, thinking about our date. He was so nice and I loved kissing him. It made me feel so completely happy. I go to sleep and dream of Charlie.
