"Alexander?" I asked as I stepped into the dingy motel room and set my key on the small wooden table placed beside the door.
He came out of the small bathroom tucked into the corner, toweling his wet hair off. I walked over to him and glanced at the deep V etched into his lower abdomen. His and glistened with water and I happily grazed my hand downwards when I reached him. Of course at that moment, someone just had to knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Xander yelled, aggravated that our moment was interrupted.
The door opened to reveal Frankie, smiling micheviously. "So how did was the killing of our dearest friend Charlie?" She asked, tapping her bright red lips with her forefinger.
"Oh, it went quite well." I smiled at Xander, placing my hand on his still wet chest. Frankie knew better than to look, she had her own man.
A dark shadow loomed up behind her, "Hey Jackson."
"Hello Allie, Alex, " he paused and kissed Frankie on the lips, "And Frankie my love."
I smiled at his gesture towards Frankie. They were just so in love, like I was with Alexander. It was cute really. All of the group back together to celebrate another ending of a story we wrote. A story we all played a part in.
"Allie. Amazing stitching as usual by the way, really made it look like the rope was what ripped his neck open, nice job with the fire also, I threw then some pictures of the guy you killed around the fire, only burned the edges a little bit. Truly great job." Jackson said this, a broad smile on his face at our accomplishment.
"Couldn't of done it without the rest of you though. Me playing the damsel in distress, Frankie the naïve best friend, Jackson the tracker, and Alexander the kidnapper/lover. We all did fantastic."
Frankie raised a bottle of red wine into the air and we all laughed. Jackson held up plastic wine glasses and we popped the cork out of the wine bottle before pouring some into each glass and toasting to the killing of Charlie.
We all said in unison, "May we always be friends, and unite to destroy our enemies, no matter what, till death do us part. For we are The Murder Gang and we shall always prevail."
